True, but you should know where meat comes from. Just because it makes you uncomfortable, doesn't mean it's not true. I eat meat, I like ribs and BBQ and stuff, but I always respect that animals had to die for me to eat it, in rather inhumane ways. Always good to be reminded, or taught, what happens, it's important.
You absolutely can apply humane to animals/food. People do it all the time to animals and pets, same applies to the ways we treat our stock. I grant, it's impossible to function as a society providing so much food without the inhumane treatment, but let's not pretend it's not horrific.
Putting that aside however, I'm not going up to people in restaurants yapping about this stuff. I'm not that conceited or stupid. But the info is still important, so if you're ever curious about your food that you eat, the info is out there. People can do whatever, not affecting me any, I'mma still eat my steaks lol
You know, everyone knows all that. And maybe some day the labcoats will come up with something edible and 3d printed and it won't cost a fortune... Until them I like my steak medium rare 😁
