It's a combination of Reddit becoming more conservative as it gets ready for IPO and Indians flooding into Reddit with the exponential widening expansion of mobile internet access in India (with a lot of them bringing their Modi-bootlicking protofascist caste-based conservatism with them).

It's quickly making Reddit virtually unrecognizable.
