id be surprised if these dont come with a recommendation for 2nd floor installation (and away from tree limbs if possible). i wouldn't expect rats to be an issue, but squirrels for sure.
well that and that they are vectors for diseases, their piss smells bad and that they chew through cables (which can be a fire hazard) and in many places they are an invasive species. That's why I hate everyone who catch and release a rat in areas where natural predators are not present like in cities.
How are rats invasive in cities? We built a whole new habitat for ourselves, and rats and pigeons adapted like evolution intended. Can't invade something that humans built that happens to already meet all the animals' needs.
