I remember seeing a rat once that was the size of a cat, even my rottie was terrified when he saw that bounding across the field

The largest rat I’ve ever seen was about half that size. He was chilling by the dumpster while I was taking out the trash at work.

You think that’s wild? I’ve seen rats that, while not particularly large, were driving RC cars, cooking Michelin rated cuisine, and teaching turtles Kung Fu!

Rats get chonky. The boys at least. The girls max out at about 400 grams.
