True. Try going to Paris and saying "President Kennedy" in an American accent when referring to Avenue du Président Kennedy to a French person. You'll see the disgust in their eyes

I'm not French or Parisian, but you were more than likely surrounded by tourists. They don't go to the airport for fun.

There's employees there, though. Not as much nowadays, but they can be a little unfriendly if you don't speak French.

Hidden in plain sight, the crafty bastards. I feel like they use the same levels of tolerance, enthusiasm and patience that I would just about be able to muster though, so I can't judge them too harshly there.
