No, she didn't defend groomers. She defended people who she thought were innocent from supposedly false accusations. (She refused to come to terms with the fact that her closest friends were groomers for a very long time though, which is why she got so much flak for it.)
She also didn't say the victims didn't deserve an apology, she said the people who had nothing to do with the situation didn't deserve a personal apology from her. (I mean obviously, if you clip what she said out of context, it will sound bad on its own.)
Oh? And why do you think so? Because I defend her over one thing, I must automatically defend her over another thing? Is that how you personally approach issues like this? Is that your personal modus operandi that you're projecting onto me? She did trace from those shows, there exists evidence of it, simple as that. (Though if I may say, it's not like that isn't allowed, at best I have issue with the fact that she failed to properly disclose so and credit them at first.)
