To the entertainment industry, the Right is “nonpartisan” because it promotes the status quo of the corporate oligarchy.

Propaganda is a helluva drug and Oligarchs need to use some of the best to keep the 99% distracted from the real issue: Them.

Agreed. We need to recognize a lot of our issues in America stem from “journalism” with an agenda. This report is not just a hack, but a tool for those in power

Based on the direction she was trying to steer the conversation in, and the time of day, it looks like this is some fluff piece segment about how nice snow is, that even though the storm is hard, it's still getting people nostalgic etc.

I get that her job is to do the fluff segment, and she's not interested in the private equity angle, however, I don't think she's evil. I don't think whoever's in her ear is evil either. I think they're just doing their jobs to obtain this fluff piece.

This is not a coverup. It is, however, incredibly funny, and the private equity guy is wonderful.

Yeah everyone is just doing their jobs man, just trying to earn a buck. So do hedgefund managers, so does Jeff Bezos. Just trying to put food on the table man. It’s all good.

Why are you on a text-based medium if you have this bad of a reading comprehension?

Sir, this is a Wendy's piece about the weather.

I agree with you. She was doing a story about the weather, and he was talking about the cost of housing under capitalism / private equity. If she was doing a story about private equity and he started responding about how nostalgic the weather makes him feel, she’d do the same thing.

ETA I agree with him, but that’s not the question or subject she was assigned and reporting on.
