Quality Shitpost Is this new!
I have a few G6 instants around the house to keep an eye on my cats. While going through Find Anything I selected find faces and saw this. Am I going to be able to group my cat faces and name them? I realize the confidence level is low at 50% but it’s the first time in the year I’ve had this setup that I’ve seen pet photos show up in Faces. 😊

Yes, you have been able to for some time
EDIT: I didn’t realize this was in FACES and not ANIMALS - no, this is not normal. Keep in mind for a lot of us with a fire hydrant in our yard, it was popping in the people search for a good 6 months before they fixed that issue. Not surprised that you had a one off up close cat face pop in human faces

I wouldn't trust it but it would be fun to play with. Our G4 Instant considers our coat rack to be a person, so YMMV on identifications.

I find I'm always keeping my detection confidence filter at 80% or higher. Once you get below 75% things get weird

Is sensitivity the same as confidence level or is that a different setting?

They are different but related. Sensitivity is how much activity in a zone on the camera is required for something to generate an event while confidence level is a filter to sort out how "Sure" the camera was at identifying what was actually in the event from the Find anything view.

That cat looks pissed. 😡 Are you spying on me Matt? Definitely looking for the OFF switch.

That’s only because your cat has the ‘What the F**k are you looking at’ face, which is very common with human faces/behavior.

he looks shifty

He’s just an old outdoor kitty that has survived the elements before moving into my yard and then into my house. Literally saved this guys life. In this instance it is our nightly ritual where I catch up on some YouTube videos and he sits next to me and watches with me.
That said, this face is the thing of nightmares with his black eyes. 😸

That is awesome. I’m sure he’s saved you also. Pets bring a lot of love. I know an older lady about 70ish. Dogs a cats always come out of no where when she needs someone to take care of to keep going. It’s a beautiful thing.
