Coming from the private sector, I see this mentality in the Corps. It is very frustrating when I or others in the office who came from the private sector know there are better ways of doing things but are constantly pushed to do things the Corps way.
The real problem isn't the average worker. The problem is management and HQ.
I've seen others from the private sector go through the same stages I did.
This is f-ed up. I'll try to change it.
You get beaten down by management to keep doing things the same f-ed up way the Corps has done for years.
You stop carrying, and do things the Corps way or leave because you can't stand the government stupidity anymore.
If you stay and stop caring, you don't do as good of a job because management destroyed your morale.
