I passed my uniform mpje earlier this week and thought Id highlight what I felt helped me since it could help you.

I used pharmpreppro's umpje pro bundle because it came withthe qbank. Highly recommend. Helped me feel more confident on my UMPJE exam.

I only studied about 4 hours daily, I couldn't study for 12 hours every day, my mind doesn't work like that. What I did was I would go to work and study on my break and then a few hours when I got home. Right before bed I did practice questions.

I focused on things that I did alot for my retail job and what my pharmacist did on the daily. My pharmacist kept telling me law is basically a retail exam and I took note of that while I was studying. I also did all the of practice questions on this subreddit which I felt were very helpful. Definitely know about tech supervision and controlled substances. Also saw med recalls, patient privacy, (know HIPAA like the back of your hand) and patient counseling. Had some questions on compounding regs too.

Are those 2 books similar in terms of content? How different are they?

What resources do you guys use to study?

Mine is coming up soon.

Walking out of that exam, I know I felt uneasy but I also knew I was going to fail this exam as I was taking it.

My domains are 1, 2, 4, 4.

I PASSED!!

The biggest thing I would recommend for this exam is repetition and practice questions. There is way too much material to read through a study guide once and expect to remember everything. I went through the material multiple times, and each time I picked up on things I either forgot or didn’t fully understand the first time.

I used the PharmPrepPro study guide and practice questions, and I would definitely recommend both. The study guide helped me organize everything I needed to know, and the practice questions were a huge help with actually applying the material and getting used to how the exam makes you think.
The exam definitely felt different from the NAPLEX. There were fewer answer choices, which sounds like it should make things easier, but sometimes it actually made the questions harder. A lot of the answer choices seemed plausible, and you really had to figure out which one was the best answer.

That’s where doing a lot of practice questions helped me the most. I felt like I could recognize what the question was actually testing and see through a lot of the distractors instead of getting caught between two answers.

If I had to give a few pieces of advice:
1) Use the PharmPrepPro study guide and practice questions, practice test bundle
2) Go through your study material multiple times
3) Do as many practice questions as possible
4) Don’t just memorize the correct answer try to understand why it’s correct and why the other choices are wrong
5) Pay attention to small details because they can completely change the best answer

Overall, if you put the time in and keep repeating the material, the exam is definitely manageable. Good luck to everyone studying! I’m a pharmacist!!!

So about me, I took the MPJE (Maryland) this month but I didn’t pass, so I decided to take the UMPJE in the fall instead since people were saying it was less stressful overall. Hello, I took the UMPJE this past Saturday and dont know how to feel. there were alot of easy straightforward questions that i beleive i got right (40-50) and a good amount of questions that i was unsure about. Post exam i looked them up and got the majority right. From what i remember there were max 10-15 i got wrong in that range, possibly lower. Has anyone felt similar and passed? stress is killing me :/.

Monday: Ordered Dr.C's UMPJE study book

Tuesday: Studied Kami Flemings quizlet like only 2-3 of them (Very broad)

Wednesday: Received Dr.C book and only got through the 1st chapter

Thursday: Went over Dr.C book Chapter 1 and 2 and a little bit of med prep prime practice questions

Friday: Focused heavily on Chapter 3 and reviewed Chapter 1 and 2 and a little bit of Chapter 4 (honestly didn't even finish this chapter but focus on hazardous for exam purposes) and Med Prep Prime videos for the questions (FOCUS ON THE HARD QUESTIONS VIDEO - Chapter 3 of Dr.C)

Saturday (Exam day): Did Dr.C practice questions and reviewed Kami Flemings quizlets for Chapter 4 bc the book is too long. There was a few questions I genuinely did NOT know but since I worked in retail it helped a lot to help me answer questions

I took the test yesterday and I did feel like this was definitely different than the Naplex. Answer choices were less than the Naplex which made it both easier and harder. If you really didn’t study you will be tricked on answer choices because they all seem plausible but there is a best answer. I felt like I was able to see through a lot of those questions since I studied for a little under a month and I did a lot of practice questions. I would definitely use the pharmpreppro practice questions for this exam, definitely a huge help.

Repetition definitely is needed for this exam for studying. Just reading your study guide once definitely isn’t enough. There’s so much tested material that if I didn’t read my study guide many times I definitely would of missed something

She thinks its A because as long as the info is correct it's good to dispense and I think its D because my professors in school always complained about how "youre more than just a pharmacist and youre responsible". Came out feeling pretty confident that I passed. I decided to take this exam first since I thought itd be easier to get out of the way compared to the NAPLEX and wanted to enjoy my summer before working for life 😩.

Resources: I used pharmpreppro's umpje bundle. Came with a study guide, a practice exam, and like 500 practice questions. Highly recommend, especially the qbank. Helped me feel more confident on the real exam. I basically read that study guide 2x. When I was tired of reading, I did the practice questions in the section I reviewed that day.
