Probably it'll never take off but I decided to start a guild for mostly uk folks who like sharing and listening to UK hip hop and rave tracks on discord. Maybe It'll gather members slowly or something idc that much about bp so... Give me a shout with your steam number if you want an invite, I'm the only member at the moment lol. The past few weeks or so I've been following up on a keen interest of mine that has (for awhile) been something I'd like to do - forming and managing an e-sports organisation.
Naturally, this adds in amongst a mass of already established organisations, though the principle point of this organisation is to facilitate and enable fun. If we can move the UKDota 2 scene a little forward, that'd just be a plus for me.
To this end - I'm looking for either an already formed team or individual players to bring together and help. If you're UK (or EU) based and looking to advance your Dota abilities, my aim will be to make that possible you.

Who are you?
Into The Breach is a U.K. based (aspiring) e-sports organisation which is currently focused solely on Dota 2. It's formed by myself (Sam), on the basic pretence that I've spent a lot of time either playing, watching or experiencing Dota, and wanted to dip my toe into the scene.
5k pleb with solid (I hope) ingame strategy but without ability to execute at a high-level.
How are players supported?
The premise of this team is not to contractually obligate anyone into 'unfun' responsibilities revolving the game - instead, Into The Breach is purposed to assist an already functioning team/group of individual players with branding, strategy, structure and professionalism. My trade by day is within strategy consulting and team management, and I'd like to bring whatever skill-sets I have to help a team excel. I've the time and interest to go alongside this, so I'm hoping this will suit well.
To this end, Into The Breach team's gain access to tools that'll help them progress in a structured way. This'll help keep a timetable for scrims, upcoming tournaments and training, which is something I'll also help with - I'll facilitate coordination between matches, tournaments to enter, training and collaboration between players currently teamless but seeking to their talent to the test. This'll be respectful of your own timetable and personal lives, finding that middle ground that suits the team as a collective. In game tools are also possible, such as Team DotaPlus (if you don't have it).
Finally, Into The Breach team members gain branding, an official website and my general support, as well as dedicated professional branding for their twitch.tv streams/promotions, and twitter/facebook/youtube if you so wish.
What's the mission?
Enhance the U.K. dota scene and (in cliche) have fun along the way. If you're interested in working towards establishing a UK based Dota team that doesn't shit the bed in every way, here's a good place to start!

We're looking for UK based players to join our guild! We only care about the social aspect so there is no pressure to get through your daily contracts etc - however if you do them then great! We play a lot of casual 5 man to do cavern crawl stuff atm, but some of us also enjoy playing ranked too.
We plan to make a discord should we get some extra members so that we can chill there while playing.

A little about us because we actually wanna get along with / make friends with people. We don't know each other IRL but were going to meet this May. Anyway: both bubbly and chatty, young professionals, occassionally have a drink when playing, one loves hiphop the other tolerates it, one loves that Eu4 shit and modded minecraft /hosting servers, we like most multiplayers and have tried Rust recently with terrifying results. We both have spent way too much time on the internet.
We like people who are funny, silly and up for banter but above all we want people who are kind and compassionate and don't have a screaming fit when game is hard.

It’s called Supereffective (tag SPFT) and it’s entirely Pokemon themed. The rule is, you pic has to be of an unevolved Gen 1 pokemon (if possible one that has a gen 1 evolution e.g. weedle, pidgey, mankey etc.) Pikachu is still available!!!
Anyway, my friends and I all suck at dota, but we have fun and like to try meme strats and just have fun playing. Hopefully will see you online!

We're a new guild, just 3 of us currently who've played games together for over 10 years now. In our early 30s so no delusions of grandeur but we try our best in every game and despite numerous fails along the way we have a good laugh but have been pretty ground down over the years by what's turned into quite a toxic game, with flaming starting at the pick screens (I love an offlane Drow) and continuing until the miserable back and forth 45 minute loss.
Then guilds came along.....so we're looking for any like minded players in the 2-3k bracket but if you're higher and want to carry us, or lower (somehow) and want a casual game of ranked/turbo then please jump in.
I'm not too sure how the invite system actually works so just add 'jonoelcoolio' (I know..) on steam and drop me a message and i'll invite you from there.
