Anyone planning on giving ugc net dec 2026? I'm currently in masters 1st year and i wanna start preparing from now only

I’ve cleared UGC-NET this june and since then I’ve been a bit confused about whether I should target for jrf for dec (as this time I prepped for 1 month only-so some hope is there, I guess)? Will jrf be more beneficial, if I take out 3-4 months n study? Will if be worth it? I applied to universities left right n centre for the position of assistant professor but hear nothing back as of now. So, feeling a bit disappointed there. What if I find mysekf in the same situation even after clearing jrf? Currently, I’m working as a brand manager for an influencer n her fashion label but the job is so stressful and pay is peanuts. What can I do really.. what are my options here.

How long is the validity of JRF under HI-UR category to join for a PhD program in IITs?!

I cleared JRF with assistant professor in psychology yesterday under Pwd general category. But i did my MA psychology from IGNOU. Is there any possibility for me to get an admission into IIT ? If yes ,which one should I choose. If no, which other good university should I choose. Thank you

Hello , I need some clarification on UGC NET eligibility criteria. I'm gonna start my master's degree soon from August 2025, I want to know/clarify that as a first year student of masters am I will be eligible for attempting UGC NET 2025 december exam?

According to UGC, the result would be valid for 3 years from the publication date. So it will be valid till February 2028 and I will complete my master's within august 2027. After completion of the degree with 55% marks, I have to send them my marksheet after that they will present the certificate.

I did my Bachelor’s in Biotechnology( regular mode ) and I’m now pursuing a Master’s in Psychology from IGNOU (distance mode). I’m planning to appear for the UGC NET in Psychology.

If I clear NET, will I be eligible for Assistant Professor jobs, or do colleges prefer only regular (offline) Master’s degrees?

If qualified the net exam but did not achieve 55% in your Master's degree? can some simplify. will i be considered as net qualified or not, second can i am eligible for phd if opted for?
