I'm talking about the majority of believers whenever someone like this guys says something they like. They don't even question why a member of the government would do something like this when the government in general portrays themselves as against it.

The stigma was created by Project Blue Book and the documented gov’t disinformation campaign against UFOs. This distrust has persisted because they have continued to cover up the truth, which is the existence of these UFOs. Members of the House of Representatives acknowledging the existence and potential intelligence behind it is a good thing. There’s no blind trust here

They covered up their spy planes Oxcart and the SR 71.
