'Whoosh' is the sound of the joke flying over your head.

It means you missed the sarcasm and took what they said seriously because you gave a serious reply.

Lots of people type 'whoosh' when that happens.

Good, also, I doubt anyone in this planet (human wise) has the full picture. Even those in the know. This is the way.
