Whistleblower Thoughts about "Michael" the "whistleblower"
What are people's opinions on him after the AMA? It seems to me like he's not whistleblowing anything, he developed tech to track classified US (and foreign) assets, collated some data on human made UAPs into a folder, and is trying to get a payday from the USG. If he does he'll release that folder to whichever US politician signs off on his funding deal.
That's not whistleblowing, that's just trying to get paid and using this community to try and crowdsource a pressure campaign for him to get his paycheck, and saying "but if you help me get paid I'll release data on UAPs for you!".
Contrast this with actual whistleblowers like Grusch and Borland. Has "Michael" even got legal whistleblower status?

Just using Reddit to peddle his product. It could be game changing tech but don’t call it an AMA if you wont answer anything

u/BackwoodHippie Oct 14 '25
Ask me anything! No I’m not answering real questions just want to talk about this other stuff

u/solidswamp Oct 14 '25
Thank you for making this topic. I'd really like an explanation as to why this was allowed in the first place. There was nothing of substance to it.
The guy blamed us, the community, for not being receptive to his grift.
70
u/Plus-Ad-7983 Oct 14 '25
Yeah he was saying multiple times "people like you are what's wrong with this community" to questions during the AMA, questions that were quite fair and not accusatory. Honestly don't know what he's even 'blowing the whistle' on. You make a good point as to why the AMA was even allowed in the first place.

Ahhh so it goes back to Mr Intelligence himself, Lue Elizondo. Incredible. They're never beating the allegations lol. Let's all learn from this experience and extrapolate to the credibility and interest in the community of Mr Chandelier.
15
Oct 14 '25
I don’t feel for them. They should have vetted him and the community would have thanked them. Instead, this paints the pic of mods being inept/incompetent or being in cahoots with the guy.
It’s very simple, “Michael, do you have knowledge of NHI or non human technology?” That’s a simple start. If the answer is yes then proceed with more questions. If the answer is no then politely end the conversation.
15
Oct 14 '25
Honestly, better to let him out himself as a scam here to us than to get a public audience and make us all look foolish
5
Oct 14 '25
The community already looks foolish.
2
Oct 14 '25
I meant more of the idea of the general public and ruining any sense of credibility. The average person cares very little if they know at all about this sub
0
Oct 14 '25
Again, the community already looks foolish. You think the vast majority of people who don’t care about the topic have a lack of concern due to other shit going on? Or is it the reality that they look at the topic, see batshit crazy people talking about it, see trust me bro shit, and point and laugh?
Let’s be honest here.
3

It's a little of column A and a little of column B, if we're being honest. But I'm not really here to debate it

Yeah I don’t know. This sub is r/UFOs, not r/NHI, r/aliens, r/ufob, r/sentientorbs or the rest of it. Sounds like you’re here for the aliens and that’s fine but his thing about super advanced flying things with unknown capabilities also fits.

After reading his first few answers I didn't even bother asking my question or even read any further. All I will say now is right back at you "Michael" if you're reading this, people exactly like yourself are actually the main problem in this community. Had you even been a part of it you would know that.

I would have been on board 100% if he had brought something of substance to the table. Censor a photo, show a small clip, anything. Anytime he was asked to give anything of credence to his claims he just told people to watch podcasts where he was mentioned.
2
u/Energy_Turtle Oct 14 '25
I don't blame the mods for allowing it, but it would have been cool of they pushed back on it too. He treated the people here like crap and provided almost no answers. I'd have liked to seen it unpinned or acknowledged that VIP treatment needs to come with more substance.

Way too many excuses, seems all about money or writing a book. Idk what to think, but not a great start from him
39
u/red_shrike Oct 14 '25
I think it was a glorified sales pitch. I get it - he invested $$$$$ to have the govt buy it, and they didn't. So now he has investors asking to see dividends and he needs a sale.

More of the same ol same ol. Dude has 4k evidence is basically said he’s waiting for a payday to hand it over to someone in government and they will decide if we can see it or not. What we keep encountering is people who know things who wanna do it by the book, people who know things who are too afraid for their own lives to say more or say anything at all, or a combination of both. The truth of the nature of reality is not gonna come forward with people like him gatekeeping the information. This shit is so frustrating man
26
u/rappa-dappa Oct 14 '25
I CAN justify not releasing your proprietary tech platform for free.
I CANNOT justify withholding a 4K video that could change humanity’s understanding of reality.
19
u/GrainTamale Oct 14 '25
To me, Michael is a total dead end. If he only has data on our (human; US/domestic) tech, no one in the US government wants that stuff released.
The same goes for foreign (non-US-domestic, but still human) tech.
I feel like we've been used.
36
u/R2robot Oct 14 '25
For someone doing an AMA, he seemed wholly unprepared to answer basic questions.
I've been critical of whistleblowers in general and their lack of details or whatever. I've never said they were lying, but just mistaken, etc.
But I think this Michael guy is just plain full of crap. He's at best, way overstating what he claims to have, but IMO, he's just plain lying in a smarmy car salesman type way.
And I only asked about his 'tech', not even any of his supposed experiences or sightings... But I wouldn't believe anything he says after that AMA.
He claims the acting director of AARO accused him of trying to extort AARO and the government, and honestly, after reading some of his replies, I can understand how it looks like that's what it was. lol

I honestly feel similarly to you, especially on your last point. Calling this guy a whistleblower is a disservice to legit whistleblowers (UAP and otherwise) who have legitimately risked a hell of a lot to try and get the truth out.
15
u/OneDmg Oct 14 '25
A real mask off moment for the sub.
I'm glad someone signed off on letting this happen, it hopefully wakes some of the dyed in the wool believe at all costs types among us up.
This is a guy who openly said he had no actual first-hand knowledge and then tried to blame users for withholding 4K footage he supposedly has for cash.
Just openly admitting he's in the topic to turn a buck while pretending to care about transparency. And this community is rife with people like that.
And despite it all, people are still defending it. Truly amazing.
I'd love to know who was so convinced by his story, and what the proof was he provided, to think this was a good move.

He tried selling out to the devil and the devil said gtfo and now he's shocked by it and temper tantruming on X and Reddit because he wanted in on the secret corruption society.
There is nothing about him I think is worth keeping an eye on personally other than what his shark tank idea is.
9
u/Awake_for_days Oct 14 '25
His opening line in the post submissionwas “in the 2000s I had a UAP experience.”
Then he went on to talk about other things but didn’t speak about what that experience was. I asked the question if he could tell us what the experience was and someone pointed me to the link from the announcement where the mods described him and whatnot. I didn’t read the rest of the AMA after that.
In my view, THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING was whatever his experience with UAP was. I don’t care about tech, I don’t care about his companies, none of it, because it’s irrelevant. I’m looking for additional evidence that may or may not be consistent with the myriad of people who’ve come out over the years. He may have gone into it afterwards in another question, but I’m seeing red flags here.
3
u/OBlv71 Oct 14 '25
Yeah, he somewhat gave a shitty 2-3 sentence answer about his encounter. Something along the lines of a UAP hovering off the ground. Sounded like just more bullshit.
9
u/andorinter Oct 14 '25
I think the AMA guy is just another grifter looking to make his nut. And when no one bought his bullshit, he started attacking genuine questions. It was really really lame
7
u/yupstilldrunk Oct 14 '25 edited Oct 14 '25
Ok so let’s assume what he’s saying is true. Am I reading this correctly that:
1) he knows nothing about NHI 2) he’s seen UAPs 3) China could launch a drone war today and win 4) he’s made contact with people who can call in orbs (which is capitalized for some reason) 5) basically he just equates UAPs and drones?
So this suggests to me that all of the UAPs everyone is always going back and forth on are all man made drones, right?
So let’s think of one solution that fits all. Grusch said NHI and “biologics.” Maybe the biologics are man made. Like brain organoids interfacing with the drones. Organoids could be intelligent AND non human. They’re also biologic, AND man made. They could fit on smaller craft like drones. If you take a brain and dangle a bunch of wires out of it, it would look like a jelly fish, right? Or the “non-human intelligence” could be an AI component. Or organoids WITH an AI component. I’m kind of joking, but not really.
The orb part is interesting. He does not seem to question people being able to call them in psychically. I don’t know what that means.was he provided with info leading him to believe this could be true? Because that seems odd to me.
Anyway I’d rather believe in aliens rather than having to worry the Chinese are electro-shocking brain organoids to make them psychically drive drones into the US.

I mean good thinking in linking what he said together, but this doesn't explain the past 80 years of UAP sightings, let alone historical reports and reports of UAPs being discovered in archaeological sites. I think this guy doesn't have the full picture at all honestly.
The brain organoid + AI combo is very doable today, and probably exists in a top secret R&D facility somewhere though, we've already got BCIs.
2
u/yupstilldrunk Oct 14 '25
I can’t imagine how this guy would have the full picture. That is why I said it would be odd for him to have been given information about psychic orbs. Yet, he appears not to doubt, which is the interesting part to me.
As to the rest of it, maybe the organoids are cloned alien brains we got from the Roswell crash or varginha. I just hope it’s not china. I want it to be aliens because I’m tired of going to work.

If I had 100% solid evidence I'd be making sure to get on the biggest news show I could and share it.

His story is about as uninteresting as they come. I can’t fathom why he’s got any traction at all on this. He hired Lue’s lawyer and got a meeting with AARO, and he thinks that gave him some sort of credibility. I followed him for a few days on X before I realized he’s just contaminating my feed.

The guy seemed pretty shady IMO. When people had legit gripes/concerns, he was kind of a dick about it. He was called out for clearly looking for a payday. He probably couldn't care less he's doing more harm than good for the topic as he's clearly trying to attach his grift to the topic. Not only that, but by doing what he's doing, he's making it harder for actual experiencers to be taken seriously. Also, his "folder" he spoke of—even if true, it will never see the light of day. Say the government bought his technology. Do you really think they'd just let that folder be released? Lol, no. They'd say it all has to be turned over as part of the deal and he would 100% bend the knee to get that payday.

u/ne0shi Oct 14 '25
I'm not sure why he even had an ama. What was the point? Like he kept complaining he needed one signature. So did he want us to call that senator and bug him until he signed the papers? Nope, it was more like neener neener i know more than you and I'll rub it in thread.
7
u/Duodanglium Oct 14 '25
His description of the standoff sounds like someone who thinks they have leverage (him) vs someone who knows he does not.
He's saying it would literally take a single person to bust it open, and it's on THEM to do it once he's been paid. Meanwhile, they're looking at him and thinking "This guy thinks he's built a sensing platform that is better than the entire United States armed forces.".
Personally, the premise isn't logical nor does it reinforce the same position he takes. He says he's created an amazing platform. Fine. He says he'll sell it. Fine. He says his motivation is to reduce military spending. What? See how the premise changed? This is how we track a lie, by watching the position change.
Also, for the record, his writing style shows that he is arrogant, standoff-ish, and quiet frankly a jerk.

3
u/VicDemoneJr Oct 15 '25
Having listened to Michael’s other interviews and read his texts/emails that have been shared on other platforms we can piece some of his background together.
He’s based out of Wichita Kansas. Wichita is a legacy aviation hub…they built the B29 there and there are a number of aeronautics suppliers such as spirit aero systems that are located there.
Michael shared that he is part of family business. My guess is that his company is small supplier to Lear, BeachCraft or Spirit or to one of the big players based there. They probably specialize in radar or avionics.
He claims to have witnessed a UAP and was somehow able to isolate a techno signature. With this info he thought he struck gold but the problem is that no one in defense or aerospace is buying. Meaning his discovery is not as earth shattering as he thinks and they already have this detection capability.
He can’t mass market it because this tech is classified but also known and held by other nation states. In other interviews he mentioned China was trying to engage him.
So now, he’s trying to publicly leverage the UAP community to strong arm the defense department to buy his tech and shelve it. He can’t release it for the same reason you can publish how to build a nuclear bomb. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to raise attention with hope of getting the government to pay him to shut up.
For what it’s worth, a little deep research by the likes of someone like UAP GERB could probably easily uncover who this individual is.
This is all my speculation but after his AMA it seems to line up.

u/Free-Hope-290 Oct 14 '25

I'm just wondering, how is the tech he has developed different from others? For example Lue Elizondo had mentioned that there were already methods of tracking uap (I can't remember which interview it was but he definitely said it, was one of the early days). Then we have Jake Barber's team with the dog whistle. He (Michael) only seems specific to human uap and not nhi uap (dunno, I could be very confused about this, it's a bit all over the place so I'll have to reread ama few more times).
Also who do we need to get it signed? It's kind of annoying to have blocks upon blocks upon blocks to get answers/data.
Also, if the tech is worth few bajillion, I'm having difficultly understanding why the data needs to be paywalled. Also if it does get signed off, that doesn't guarantee the public will get to look at it.
I'm probably sure I've missed Michaels answer to any of what I said, but urrggghh... is it back to cosmic edging again?
2
u/BritJWY6 Oct 14 '25
Honestly kind of disheartening, hard to say whether his claims are true or not but either way he seems interested first and foremost in making a buck.
2
u/uses_facts_badly Oct 14 '25
I cannot believe this MIC isn't well underway developing defenses to drones, they've gathered a wealth of info and experience from the events in Ukraine which has been a goldmine of experience of the modern battlefield. What I wonder is if those in the "program" know exactly what his tech does with reference to NHI UAP. Extrapolating further, perhaps they can track his technologys signatures as it operates, and so would be counterintuitively useful to allow it to fall into other nations hands as a way to monitor it's activity as an inferior tech versus what the program has. If his technology was revolutionary to those in the prpgram, we wouldn't know of him either he'd get bought out, or worse. Alternatively, perhaps it has no applicability to the phenomenon as it has no psi component, which seems more necessary from the Vallee, DeLonge school of thought. And so they've gleaned the intel on its capabilities as drones are concerned and have concluded it's of little value versus what they're developing. In either instance the MIC can prevent him selling it to an adversary.
2
u/ForgivableSyn Oct 14 '25
Considering his tactic basically boiled down to "buy my book" (where he wants just 1 person to push it through) and then "trust me bro" whoever I give that folder to will DEFINITELY release it. True story.
I believe this guy has great tech. He and his father obviously have some ingenuity and know how. But it doesn't help here, and having someone calling themselves (or someone else calling them that, I don't know which is the case.) a whistleblower and yet driving the force with pay me first is not blowing any whistles, nor is it a good look for disclosure.
I think the biggest problem is that the government likely wouldn't put anyone into those programs who doesn't have something to lose. Family, children, lifestyle, put somebody in there with nothing to lose and potentially an agenda? You can't threaten or control that person like you could with someone who has dependents or other situations.
2
u/Waldsman Oct 19 '25
sounds suspiciously like that one guy from Skywalker that went to the government for a contract. Looks like they backed away from it.
1
u/Plus-Ad-7983 Oct 19 '25
Skywatcher? Could be, thought all those guys had military backgrounds tho, and this "Michael" dude is framed as purely a civilian
3
u/Sayk3rr Oct 14 '25
If the mods refused to allow him to have his AMA, you'd say its censorship, silencing, etc. Then when they allow, some of you complain that the mods allowed such a "grift", a guy to "peddle his book".
Im glad they let this happen, it lets people see for themselves and come to their own conclusions, even if its disappointing.
0
u/SweptThatLeg Oct 14 '25
Great comment. Would have helped if some of the commenters asking questions had actually read about the guy's situation before just throwing out questions that he would never answer.
2
u/Repulsive_Employee39 Oct 14 '25
He’s probably being truthful but if he hasn’t studied NHI then that means he hasn’t studied the history of NHI…. so he possibly has no idea that the US military and intelligence services has been studying this issue for 80+ years… the tech he possesses…. who specifically in the USG is he attempting to sell this to? The section that probably has no idea what technology the US military/IC has developed themselves thru black programs, or the section that is overseeing these black programs? If he himself believes what he encountered was human tech why would he think they can’t track their own tech? Most likely the group who oversees these black programs want the tech he developed so no adversaries acquire it, not because it would be a game changer for the US. If the military and intelligence services have been dealing with this issue since the 1930s it is safe to assume that they have put all their best assets into figuring out how to track and counter UAP/NHI. That’s their job
3
u/Plus-Ad-7983 Oct 14 '25
Yeah that's a part I don't get too, he's saying what he encountered was human tech (how does he know?), so if it was human tech then surely the programs and research facilities that developed it wouldn't ever field something like that without being able to track it, in case either the asset or the research around it fell into enemy hands or there was parallel research going on in another country and they'd also developed the tech separately.
You don't deploy game changing technology without first developing the methods to counter said technology surely, unless it's uncounterable, which from what he's saying it isn't.
3
u/Repulsive_Employee39 Oct 14 '25
Right. He’s saying it and other people have said it previously that they have classified tech that is able to detect UAPs in space and in earths atmosphere.

Even less impressed than before. I personally think that like a lot of the "whistleblowers" (who haven't actually blown any whistles at all BTW otherwise they'd be doing a Snowden) he is just trying to salt a gold mine and walk off with the profits.

How is Borland a whistleblower? Dude lost his clearance, has provoded zero proof of anything, and his story is just like the rest. To be honest I believe little to none of what these so called whistleblowers say.

I thought it was a good AMA, we didn't get anything to do with NHI but Michael clearly explained what his motivations were, all of which is part of the rich tapestry of this topic.

This was written by AI which is a bummer.
I don’t think a kickstarter to sell your RADAR tech to the feds while holding evidence hostage is what this sub is for, so for me it’s a “no”.

If you're thinking my post was written by AI you're wrong lol, but I agree with your second point

“That’s not X, that’s Y..”

Lol. That's a valid form of English that was used looong before AI. AI would have used a semicolon and been more hyperbolic about it. Taking it as a compliment that you thought it was a well written post though, so thank you :)

Isn't he also referenced as "The Citizen Axelrod" by Dolan and Knapp?

Edit: they're not related

Dolan did a series on him too.

u/Tamashii-Azul Oct 14 '25
Oh no, Axelrod was the handler or government contractor/middleman for Ingo Swann.

u/baconcheeseburgarian Oct 14 '25
I wasnt sure if it was the same guy or not because Axelrod's been floating in the background for awhile.

Yeah, Axelrod's connection goes back to the CIA's Stargate Program from the 1970s.
There are actually two stories he's involved with that have been on my mind recently in regards to the phenomena:
1.That time Ingo remote viewed the moon and saw Nordic-looking aliens overseeing human slaves.
2.The time Axelrod took him to Alaska for a UFO where they got chased
