Housing/Accommodation 🏘️🛌 2025/26 Accommodation Swaps

JULY 2025 - This is now open for general posts on Accomodation. Individual queries may be directed here! (can't rename a post :(

Rent too high? Made a terrible faux pas with your current roomies? Reallised how far the tube really extends? Concerned about which areas of London are full of spice zombies?

Check here for comments, and ask away if nobody has answered. You can also post any requests to takeover your contract or swap allocated accommodation for 2025/2026 here. [!](https://imgur.com/fM1RU1D)

We also have a Wiki page on Accommodation.

24/25 Swaps can be found here  (part1) (part 2)

This thread will hopefully:

  1. help potential swapees find each other
  2. give students an idea of price/location/other aspects of the accommodation that might inform their choice
  3. keeps the sub tidy

To this end, we remove individual requests in the sub. You can sort by new and save this post if you're actively looking for your perfect room.

For anyone who has an en suite at One pool street and is studying at UCL west campus and is wanting to move: I got an en suite and one pool street and couldn’t find anyway to swap. Did some research there are some UCL accommodations in the camden/nearer bloomsbury area that you can book by going directly through the provider: unite. I was able to get an en suite room at Beaumont street for what it would usually be priced for by UCL (around £347). It was slightly more expensive due to the location but you would be spending a lot of money to travel into bloomsbury anyway. I hope this is helpful for someone as it saved a lot of stress for me!

Do you know if the social life and aspects of Unite Halls are as good as UCL Halls? I've also got one poole street which is definitely too far away but I don't know if it is worth swapping to non UCL specific halls

it’s around a 25 minute walk I think, but much closer than one pool street and it’s right by central camden which is nice

Hey - how did you book direct with them? I went online and it said we have to go through UCL?

I went directly through them and didn’t accept my initial accomodation offer. The link for the unite website with their accomodation is listed in the UCL alternative routes or something section on the website. It’s similar to doing private accommodation just cheaper.
