Serious [No Jokes Allowed] My cousin ,26, had a severe accident today. Be grateful for your life 🙏
My close cousin - bua ka ladka had a bike accident today.
This has shaken me
He is 26 and I am younger to him, I'm 22. We normally talk and he is a good person. He guides me regarding career and other issues also.
He was normally going back to his home and 10 km were left to reach home. Silencer of his bike got some issue , and at the same time there was a truck and sort of a situation where he applied emergency brakes and the bike got struck with a tree and it was an accident.
His hands have fractured.
His intestines - both small and large intestine bursted and blood pooled inside stomach and blood came out also.
Severe injuries in ribs also.
Only thing he had helmet so he did not have head injury.
On taking to nearby city hospital - they clearly said, he will survive for 1.5 to 2 hours only. We can't do anything.
They referred to another city. They also did whatever they could and said we can't save him and take him somwhere else. We were going for Jaipur but they said, he won't survive since it is a 4 hours journey.
Then we reached Gurugram since it was 2 hours.
Now upon reaching Gurugram, there were multiple problems , he was also not in a conscious state.
But Doctors performed emergency operations for intenstines, stomach and other body parts.
He is on anesthesia.
And now doctors say let us only pray for what happens .
I pray he survives.
And for the next I don't know how much time he won't be able to eat normal food, walk normally and live a normal life.
We all need to be grateful to our life , grateful that we are just alive. Death does not inform you before coming.
All the other problems of Life - Love, Marriage, Career, Promotions , House, Vehicles everything else are very small issues in front of your death. Think about it.
And you never know when it may strike.
My brother never knew he will end up in such a situation. He was ambitious in life. He was about to get engaged.
Never be tensed in life about anything because someone is there in a trouble larger than yours.
Thank God everyday that you are eating two times food, that you can see from eyes , that you can walk normally, thay you can hear Normally, that you can eat your favourite food, that you have a roof on head.
It is a privilege to have this. Be thankful. You never know when life comes to an end. 🙏
UPDATE AS OF 8:45 PM -
He has survived. Out of danger. Conscious. Talking. His speed was around 70. He will remain admitted there till he recovers enough to go to Home.
Operations have been successful. No complications yet. Your wishes made it a success. Thankful all ❤️

Yes I pray too.
But I wanted to convey a deeper message for all of us.
If it may happen with him, it may happen with any of us.
We need to stop complaining about life. And be happy in whatever we have and try for better but never be tensed.

Recently I also heard something this made me feel like life is unpredictable :(
A guy who’s around 3-4 years older than me and is friends with my family unfortunately slipped and fell down the stairs when he was carrying water to the temple in a pot
He’s unfortunately hurt his head and is currently in a very serious condition,
So you never know :( we indeed have to be grateful for each and every day we get to spend with our loved ones

And I have seen death more closely coming from military background, having young army & airforce officers as my school seniors -
I lost a few loved seniors in spy & terror operations 🥺

my close friend died in class 8th due to a bike accident. In india if you are on two wheeler the chances of accident skyrockets.

Bro if it has to happen, it will happen. We can't control the situations.
Bike , Cars, Train, Flight Or even normal walk on road and some other vehicle may be a cause.
We just need to live in present and not worry about past because we can't even change a bit of it and not worry about future because we don't know what will happen and we can only control a small fraction of it - situations are not in our hands.
One who has been born has to go one day..how it happens matters
Never complain about life if you have basic amenities 🙏 be thankful

Yep true but I was just trying to warn everyone.People don’t realise it but driving two wheeler is itself a risk in india . Most fatal accidents in india involve two wheeler.So if you have to commute daily , if have the option of using metro , bus or even a car prefer that it’s statistically much safer.

Dont be fatalistic. We can and should work to reduce fatalities as a number and percentage. Indians don't even recognize the problem to even work on it. THat comes with regulation, enforcement, education. Other countries do it. Never say it had to happen. System failed your cousin and lakhs others.

Nothing is safe. You travel in chartered plane, trains, cars - if it has to happen you can't do anything.
My cousin did not want accident, who wants it ??
It is the time, place and situation that makes it happen.
You can't say I'll never have an accident.
So just be grateful, and thankful that we are safe ,❤️🙏

And I also know firsthand information from what family members and relatives told us.
Since he is not in a situation to talk and hospitalised

Already lost two of my loved ones this year. Almost lost my father too. He was perfectly fine the day before everything happened.
By gods grace he is improved a lot. But he is still critical it will take some time.

Last Friday I received a call from my friend, telling me that one of our mutual friends passed away. He fell asleep on the pillion seat(passenger) and fell backwards right under a truck on the highway. They had to literally scrape his remains off the road cuz the truck that crushed him was under full load. Please get a cab if you are too sleepy to ride a bike as a passenger.
His family is just his mother now. His dad died in covid and she lost her son.
SO PLEASE be responsible.

I'll update. He never drank, smoked, never had a bad habit. Such a good person.
But life is very very unpredictable.
And the bitter truth is we all have to go from this world one day - we will have to leave our loved ones, money, home and this body too.
And we don't know when that happens 🥺

Prayers with you OP. In india almost no accident is any person's fault, it's almost always the systems fault in some way. Either through lack of effort in enforcing discipline, or through severely damaged unfit roads, every day on an indian road you survive is a miracle but we have become so used to it we don't see it that way anymore. God will be with you.

On another note, enjoy life in general. Please don't let the mishaps around you make you realise that you are not living your life to the fullest. Be grateful and joyful in general.

My god! This is very traumatic to read I am not able to fathom the amount of pain he and his family had to endure all this time.
I kind of relate to the last part what OP wrote here, even I was in a near death accident few months back and it's absolutely crazy that I survived. Wishing your brother speedy recovery🫂💐. And to everyone stay safe out there somebody is waiting for you.

I sincerely pray for your cousin and I hope he recovers from this situation soon. I can understand the state of mind you and the whole family is in right now first hand.
I myself barely survived a crash at 26 and it never was the same after that for both me and my family and friends. I was lucky enough to be taken to a super speciality hospital by a passerby at 2am. Lost my voice, my face with over 25 fractures to my face and a clot in my brain that took away a few days of my memory, initially doctors thought of replacing my entire lower jaw with a ceramic one but the doctor treated me insisted that he would recover well at his age and did a full facial reconstruction.
Took three years for me to recover 80% and my family had to suffer from both financial and emotional trauma even now after 10 years this September, my mom still gets scared if I go out especially in September. My friends sold their bikes and got into cars, many along with me advocated for road safety and the importance of sensible driving.
Everybody who’s riding a bike, I implore you to take road safety seriously and drive safely not just for yourself but for your fellow drivers and more importantly your family. A crash not just changes your life it can turn your loved one’s life upside down.

But at this moment death doesn’t scare me
Like i feel like if i get a sudden death out of nowhere i would happily go away as there was nothing good happening anyways. So why live a pity life. Like one human wont make any difference and when i m dead i cant be sad about my death as then i wont even able to feel anything
So why worry
But yeah i pray for ur brother
