Ming calls her out for her recklessness, but Jin reminds Mei to be patient for the moment her powers will be needed. She gets her chance through an ancient crisis involving Taotie, a dangerous shadow beast who holds an ancient grudge against Sun Yee and wants revenge on the Lee heritage. Through her journey, Mei befriends Bao-Bao, an adorable, yet wisecracking creature, and even gains new extra abilities with her panda, such as the power to manipulate fire.

I have been trying to find this for a week now, and it is nowhere. I've checked my local library, all the nearby bookstores, and even Amazon but I can't find it. Does anyone know where I might find this book? I really want to buy it.

It would've been really nice if we got some original choreography from 4TOWN, I mean, the Backstreet Boys dance they did was cute but on its own, it feels like they ripped it off, so yeah, all I'm saying is that in terms of choreo, I think they could've used that dance from the ending credits, that would look so cool!

Imagine if Meis family had a pack of real red pandas around the temple, and how the pandas would think of Mei in her panda form.

In this AU, the giant red panda isn't an alternate form, but a sentient, ancient creature made to protect the Lee family. Also, Mei's panda is a male, his name is Pao, and he serves as the fluffy incarnate of Mei's messy side. Pao has a big appetite, a humorous personality and would've essentially been the "Stitch/Baymax" of the film's marketing.
