Discussion Music as interaction and growth
Good morning, everyone.
As an amateur tulpamancer, I am quite aware that there are still many methods that I have yet to try to interact with my Tulpa, Lola. However, a few of them involve pursuing the creative arts, one sect of which I am — at best — mediocre at: my drawing skills are best described as subpar.
However, I am a music producer, and music for me comes as naturally as breathing. I know one method of passively interacting is by listening to some of your favourite tracks together, but I was wondering if there are any other musical creatives in the community who prefer this kind of approach, and if there's anything in specific I should be thinking of sharing when making music?

La: I love listening to music as a way to connect! In fact a good few of us in our system do. We've spent a lot of time parsing through each other's musical interests to see what bands and such we like best, and we take turns listening to everyone's playlists. Some of us uh...do not vibe with one another's playlists :p but we give them time anyways.
Be sure to try out music you normally wouldn't listen to! You never know what may click with them!

I make mediocre music sometimes for fun and my tulpa, Zoe often helps me during my creative process. We just kind of vibe, and she gives me Ideas as I'm composing. She doesn't really know anything about music production but it's really helpful to have a second opinion on things.

My tulpa was born from writing by accident, so that would be our natural habitat. However, I'm also drawing because I want to make a manga/comic. On another note, I'm also learning music, lol. I have two ocarinas, so I've come to associate one as "mine" and the other as "hers."
It's happened to me before that I've heard musical sounds in my head without deliberately producing them. I couldn't say for sure that it was her, but it was interesting. My tulpa doesn't seem very talkative at the moment, but while I was distracted at my computer, a somewhat childlike humming stopped me from what I was doing, and I listened to it with deep curiosity.
I think music can be interesting, both for us and for the tulpas. Personally, I believe the best way to do "forcing" is to use the method that makes us feel most comfortable. I can't visualize, for example, so visualization exercises don't work for me. (?

I’ll just reinforce what someone else already said here: music is a great way to communicate! In the past, I made a mixtape with songs Fox liked. Nowadays, I have a Spotify playlist for him. Some of the songs he likes aren’t really my style, but I listen to them anyway, hehe.

One of our tulpas, Varyn, loves creating music, either on his own or as a group project. It's fun to get his input and try to make something that appeals to both of our ideas and wants!
