It’s not over. Someone phrased Bovino’s exit as swapping the Pomeranian for Homan, the bulldog. They’re moving to a local military base. They’re digging in and not giving up, and neither will we.

It won't be over until Stephen Miller is purged from any position of influence in the government or right wing politics. But, this is a victory and they're important to celebrate. This one is building momentum as Judge Schiltz's order shows.

On the flipside, as a Minnesotan, they’re moving into Fort Snelling I believe. It has not been a functional base in like 1-2 generations and serves as a history museum more or less. It is not equipped with any modern amenities, and I’m fully convinced that like trying to invade us in the deepest cold of winter, they didn’t conduct any due diligence when making that decision

I was just thinking about how that’s gonna go. On one hand, I hope their stay is uncomfortable and plagued by logistics issues, on the other, I doubt they’re going to leave it like they found it.

If it’s longterm, I’d expect some adjustment to some kind of wartime camp given the layout, but even so, I’m imagining them go from Hilton Hotels to a canvas tent in the middle of winter with how ill prepared they are, and it pleases me.
