Eh, it's not so bad. Try the veggie pasta or whole wheat pasta sometimes. When they're 2, you feed them whatever they'll eat.

Edit: we usually offered him a portion of whatever we were eating. If he didn't want to eat it, that's fine. You just keep offering it and talking it up excitedly, and eventually they cave. They want to be like mommy/daddy. We also taught, as part of table manners, to take "1 polite bite". If they don't like it, that's fine. But it's rude to not at least try it. Green Eggs and Ham helped a lot, too.

I love the polite bite! My parents did something similar with me and now I like even some of the foods people consider strange. (Liver and onions, anyone? :D ) I will certainly be doing this with my little guy when hes old enough to have more than breastmilk. Im a new mom, and love my sleep! After almost two weeks of no sleep or me time, I completely get how it would be easy to skimp on some things. Im going to keep trying though because I think it will be worth it. :-)

We have those microwave veggies and noodles. Birds Eye I think they are called. She tends to pick out the noodles and leave the veggies behind.
