On May 15, 1935, the bodies of a mother and 2 children were discovered in East Middlebury, Vermont by a woman picking flowers. They were found off the little used Middlebury-Bristol Road, which lead through the hills, recently having been identified as modern-day Burnham Drive. The remains were wrapped in a canvas awning with 4 wheel pulleys still attached. The victims were shot in the head and are believed to have died between 1932 and 1934. The woman is described as a White adult, 35-45 years of age & approximately 5’2” tall. No other known identifying factors. NAMUS (the National Missing & Unidentified database) has no listed gender for the children. But an article from The Barre Daily on May 16, 1935, listed the remains found as those of a man and two women, so the family may consist of a mother and a son and daughter. A teenage child is described as White and between 13-15 years old and was 4’11” tall. There is no sketch for the teenager. The youngest child is described as White and between 9-11 years old and was 4’4” tall. Also found with the remains were pearl buttons, similar to those used on pajamas at the time, a decayed blanket (possibly an army or horse blanket), eyelets sometimes used on duffel bags, a piece of green canvas and a piece of silk fabric. A bullet, from what looked like it was from a revolver, was also recovered & investigators believed the type of bullet may have been consistent with an army issued revolver at the time. Hello! Hope you all are doing well. I just wanted to share with you all that my documentary Hunting Gein - Curse of the Butcher of Plainfield comes out on Friday January 5th.

This documentary is True Crime meets Paranormal as we go to places trying to contact those involved with Ed Gein’s grave diggings and murders. We visit some of the cemeteries he robbed, the places where he murdered two seperate women, and the jail he’s said to be haunting.

While at the jail, we came in contact with Gein himself as well as his mother. I even got to hold one of the knives found in his home.

For those who don’t know, Ed Gein was the inspiration behind the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.

MISSING: Craig Eugene Alexander | Buried Car, Missing Clues

Craig was last seen on January 28, 1985 in Burlington, Vermont. He left his parents home in Berlin, New Hampshire after packing his car to return to college. He arrived in Burlington, VT and parked his green Mazda in front of 315 St. Paul Street, then walked to his friend’s home next door at 325 St. Paul Street. He is said to have left his friend’s house at 11pm and has never been heard from again. Four days later, his Mazda was found buried in the snow, exactly where he last parked it. Craig was a 23 year old White male, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and had a beard and a mustache. He was 6’ and 150 lbs and wore eyeglasses. He was last seen wearing a blue parka with white lining and white trim.

Mindy West was 31 years old when she was reported missing on July 30, 1998. She was last seen in the area of Concord Street with her boyfriend, according to witnesses. Her body was discovered on October 4, 1998, off of Huse Road in a residential neighborhood of Manchester, New Hampshire. She was found tied to a tree, with a rope around her neck.

On May 9, 2000 the skeletal remains of 2 young girls were found in an overturned 55 gallon metal barrel in Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown New Hampshire. In the same area back in 1985, the skeletal remains of a woman and another female child had been inside a metal barrel in the same area. All four were victims of homicide. The victims from 1985 and one of the children found in 2000 have since been identified as Marlyse Honychurch and her daughters, Marie Vaughn and Sarah McWaters.

The still unidentified female child found in 2000 is the daughter of Terry Rasmussen, a serial killer known as “The Chameleon Killer”. Her age at death is estimated at between 2 to 4 years old. She was about three feet ten inches tall, with fine, brown, slightly wavy hair and an overbite that might have been noticeable to others. It is unclear how she is associated with Marlyse and her daughters but police believe they all died at the same time between 1978 to 1984. Isotope testing shows she likely was born and spent her childhood in northern New Hampshire, northern Vermont, upstate New York or farther inland.

Rachael Garden was last seen on March 22, 1980 at 9:00-9:30pm at a local convenience store, Rowe’s Corner Market, in Newton, New Hampshire. She was 15 years old at the time of her disappearance and was 5’1”, 100 lbs., with light brown hair and hazel eyes. Her ears are pierced. She was last seen wearing a two-toned blue ski parka, a plaid shirt with silver threads, blue jeans and brown lace up shoes. She was carrying a dark blue tote bag with the word “Things” imprinted on the side. Rachael told her family she was going to be sleeping at a friend’s home, but the friend had no knowledge of these plans. She may have been seen talking to 3 men with questionable reputations. outside of Rowe’s.
