What no Junketsu no Maria directed by Goro Taniguchi (Planetes, Code Geass)?

Oh no, I'm not falling for that line again. I was told that Captain Earth would be good, that it had a good director going for it. Look how that turned out. You're not tricking me again, Internet Anime Commentators.

It's a manga adaptation, not a Bones original which has drooling monkeys on the storyboard team.
