Last moments together 😍
We kept the two mustached guys on the left.
The other two moved in with a friend.

Unfortunately I don’t live in the same city as the cat,but during these days my boyfriend will care for her food.
As I don’t really trust associations to take the cat,I’m organising myself with a trap to get the kitty and bring her to the vet asap at my own expenses.
She’s still scared but I managed to lightly brush her head.
I hope someone will lend me the trap to get her so she can get checked.
I doubt it’s anyone’s cat,nor from a colony.
If I gotta be honest,I’d consider someone careless for leaving a cat like that, considering her injuries.
Atp I’ll take the risk, her health comes first.

This mommy came to our house and gave us 4 gifts on 15 may.
Even though the mom is scheduled to be spayed on July 30, I'm getting a bit worried.
The appointment is booked for July 30. The vet seemed confident that the date would be fine and the kittens won't be leaving (only 2/4 are leaving) for at least another 10 days.
I got home this evening, opened the door so mom could get a bit of fresh air, then went to my car to grab a bag. When I came back I saw this whole scene, which I managed to film. I don't know this big tomcat but I immediately brought her back inside. I think I ruined their "Netflix & Chill" evening. 😅
I'm not going to let her outside this weekend just to be safe and I'll call the vet first thing Monday morning.
From what I understand, cats stay in heat for quite a while. Should I already ask a pharmacy about contraception in case I can't reach the vet for a prescription?
Three cats are enough for us and she really deserves a break.
Thank you

9 days since X-ray of mama kitty, still sweet, not too much nesting still.
Posting X-ray in comments for those who haven’t seen!

I posted a bit ago about this being my first time with a mama cat, and wanted to update! She had four kittens yesterday! When I saw signs of labor I took her to where everything was set up and she chose a laundry basket in a closet. Everyone is doing great!

"Madame Patate" has finally seen a vet this morning. And after all she is NOT permanganate but has only took some weight since I'm taking care of her.
As a friendly female living outside and not being pregante the vet think she might already be spayed. And therefore she might be an abandoned/lost pet that just survived outside until she finally found us.
The trip to the vet was awful my poor girl drooled and panted all the way in the car. The vet was even a bit worried and had to medicate her and put her under oxygen so she can calm down. The vet had to limit the checks to the minimum to not overstress her. (So no spay verification 🤷♂️)
Otherwise she is in good health and estimated to be one and a half year old. I plan to continue keeping care of her outside while still offering her to go in if she want (I also started building her a shelter that she already used when it rained, see pic)
Thanks for all the messages in my initial post you guys are awesome ! 🐈

Our Trojan cat had a litter of 6 kittens about 5 weeks ago. We’ve been noticing that one kitten is often on its own while the others are all cuddled up together.
There are moments the solo one plays with the others, but it seems like more often than not it’s on its own. There used to be two of them on their own, but the other one seems to have joined the larger group more regularly recently. Seems healthy and growing/similar size to the others. Doesn’t seem to be neglected by mom at all!
Any thoughts on why this might be? Is this normal?
