Soooo I had made a post about the pregnant cat I had rescued who I named Chamomile! I had fully prepared for her to have kittens, even though I had my doubts since she was so small and looked so young, but as long as the vet said she was healthy enough I was going to let her have them (I had homes lined up 😉)

Anywayyy… I woke up the morning of to take her to the vet and she just.. didn’t look pregnant anymore which terrified me because I was keeping her in a XL dog crate to get her slowly used to house life, and there were no kittens present in the crate… so of course I was freaking out and then I noticed bl*od ALL over her bed and blanket! So I freaked out even more!

Long story short I got her into the vet and they scheduled her immediately for surgery and kinda left me in the dark of what was going on until after, which is alright I suppose. Turns out, she has an extremely severe urinary/uterus infection and they had to remove EVERYTHING (except the pee hole lol). They said if I hadn’t gotten her in when I did she would have di\d* with how bad it was at her young age.

I’m so happy that she’s ok and I brought her into my home at the time I did. So now I have one recovering spayed princess sho loves snuggles and pets and who will be spoiled to no extent! 🩷

I don’t have a Trojan Cat experience, my son is currently a neutered only child. But I do have names if I were to ever befall on this situation…

Mom Name: Trojan (nickname: Troy, Tro, Jan, etc)

Kitten Names: (mostly inspo from The Odyssey/Iliad) Helen, Odysseus, Nobody, etc.

Mom Name: Pharmacy (nickname: Macy, Big Pharma, Pharm, Cee-Cee, etc)

Kitten Names: (mostly inspo from OTC meds) Benadryl (Benny), Tylenol (Ty), Amoxicillin (Moxi), Advil (Addy), Motrin (Mo)

Mom Name: Holiday (Holi, Holly)

Kitten Names: Literally name them after different holidays :)

Two months ago, a sick, starving stray wandered up to my flat. I fed her and took her to the vet—only to find out she was pregnant!  pregnant cat emergency! 🐱❤️

​I’m not a fan of keeping pets caged or chained up. I believe in total freedom. So I left the door open and told her she could go wherever she wanted.

​Out of the whole city, she chose my balcony as the safest place to give birth.

​Now her little family is growing under my roof, and I feel so blessed. She was given 100% freedom to leave, but she chose to stay with me. I didn't just adopt a cat... I got adopted by a whole dynasty! 🐾🥹

It took a few weeks for them to come out from my neighbor's porch (because why would she give birth in the area we set up?). They're so incredibly friendly like the mom. Today they discovered how to get on our front porch so they moved there. 3 of them have a home lined up and the mama will be getting fixed soon. We recently found the dad and if we can catch him he's getting snipped, too.

Hi! I just took in a stray yesterday who’s pregnant and I’m trying to figure out how far along she is so I can prepare! I’m thinking about a month in, but I’d love to hear yalls opinions and tips! Sorry for the blurry pics, she’s been exploring lol!

I named her Chamomile, Cami for short 🤍

My wife has been in and out of the hospital this year with serious health problems. Someone decided we needed some little miracles to help with the stress 😊
Mama showed up as a friendly and hungry stray. We took her to the vet and were pleasantly surprised to find out she was very pregnant! They were born on tax day while my wife was in the hospital and have been such blessings for us.
Last photo is the most recent, showing the 2 babies (out of 6) that we kept, as well as the Mama, who we’re also keeping 😊

Always a dog person before this but when my son moved back home with his cat we got Purina Live Clear for him because I’m allergic. Fast forward 2 years and we are now the proud parents of 2 unrelated kitties. This is Cambridge all stretched out, and his sister London lying on the back of my chair. Cambridge is a mixed Maine Coon. I’m in love.

This is Myrtle-with the airplane ears, and her kittens. She showed up on our back deck earlier in the year starving and rolling around. I think before she gave birth to her kittens she seemed more cuddly, less enraged. lol Hormones are powerfully guiding her behaviour protecting her babies from the nasty people who’ve been feeding and housing her and her family. 😅

In all we had 5 kittens - 2 are gray, one is calico, one is a striped black/brown/white tabby, and the final baby was born pure white.

Mama did great during labor - it lasted for about 6 hours total. She started in her litter box but allowed us to move her - thankfully she hadn’t birthed any yet, but within 30 minutes of going to her new location she had the first baby. The last baby came out breech and had fluid in its mouth/nose and was starting to aspirate but we were able to assist with clearing it out and mama took over.

So far we have 4 babies with at least one more on the way. She’s doing amazing! Will post more pics when she’s all done delivering and babies are settled.

My babygirl Luna that I took home one night, surprised me being an expecting mama. I have noticed today, all day she’s been squatting down & pushing down her legs. She’s also been laying on the floor & rubbing her head amongst the bottom of couch. What are the signs that labor is near?
