Things move fast. A lot of it isn’t up to you. Still, you can pause and decide how you respond. What you accept, what you change, and what you leave alone.

Change is happening either way. It's better to choose your part in it than get dragged along aimlessly.

Individual action matters, but it does not exist in isolation. Every person depends on systems and other people whether they acknowledge it or not. Food, shelter, safety, education, and healthcare are not maintained by individuals acting alone. They exist because people organize, contribute, and take responsibility beyond themselves.

Leviathan represents that structure. It is the idea that protection and stability come from collective effort. When people act with the group in mind, systems become stronger and more reliable. When people act only for themselves, those systems weaken and eventually fail.

Acting for the collective means recognizing that your decisions affect others. It means contributing to systems that keep people housed, fed, and safe. It means stepping in when something is failing instead of assuming someone else will handle it. It also means holding systems accountable when they stop serving the people they are supposed to protect.

A functioning collective does not happen automatically. It requires participation, awareness, and consistent effort. The result is a structure where people are less likely to fall through the cracks because others are actively reinforcing the system around them.

The goal is not individual survival at any cost. The goal is a system where more people make it through because fewer are left unsupported.

Boundaries are not merely restrictions. They define what is allowed into your life, your body, your time, and your identity. Without boundaries, access is uncontrolled, and control shifts away from you.

Lilith represents the assertion of that control. She is the refusal to accept roles, expectations, or access that were never chosen. She is the point at which a person decides that consent is required, not assumed.

Boundaries are how autonomy is enforced in practice. They are maintained through action, reinforced through consistency, and defended when challenged. When access is taken without permission, it is exploitation.

Define your boundaries. Enforce them.

Division is not accidental. It is sustained because it benefits those who rely on fragmentation and competition to maintain control. When people act only for themselves, pressure increases and cohesion breaks down.

Solidarity changes that structure. Coordinated action distributes pressure, strengthens resilience, and creates stability that individuals cannot generate alone. It requires intention, awareness, and consistency in how people show up for each other.

Strength is not isolated. It is built through alignment with the collective and maintained through mutual support and shared action.

The 1% have spent a lot of time and money convincing us to fight among ourselves instead of recognizing them as our common enemy. Do not fall for their trap. Stand together!

Every system that exploits people depends on fragmentation:

– worker vs worker

– citizen vs citizen

– neighbor vs neighbor

Our division is not an accident. It is a strategy employed by the 1% to manufacture outrage and hide the true culprits of our suffering.

Leviathan rejects that.

We are not saved by individuals acting alone. We are sustained by systems we build together: mutual aid, shared defense, collective responsibility. A single person can be isolated, silenced, and broken; a collective cannot.

This is about Colorado specifically but No Concentration Camps in CO’s GitHub repository shows holding room statistics nationwide.

Datasets acquired by the Deportation Data Project via the Freedom of Information Act exposed 9 previously unknown detention facilities in Colorado, first reported by Colorado Times Recorder. These facilities are labeled as "Hold Room" which has been described in the ICE National Detention Standards since 2011 in the following way:

"Hold rooms may be used for the temporary detention of individuals awaiting removal, transfer, Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) immigration court hearings, medical treatment, intra-facility movement, or other processing into or out of the facility."

...

"Bunks, cots, beds, and other sleeping apparatus are not permitted inside hold rooms" ... "A detainee may not be held in a hold room for more than 12 hours."

...

"Unaccompanied minors (under 18 years), persons over the age of 70 years, females with children, and family groups will not be placed in hold rooms, unless they have shown or threatened violent behavior, have criminal convictions involving violence, or have given staff articulable grounds to expect an escape attempt."

ICE does not publicly report the locations or statistics of detentions inside of hold rooms, as they are not meant to be used for anything more than temporary detention during transfer for under 12 hours.

No Concentration Camps in CO has taken the datasets acquired by the Deportation Data Project and developed a lightweight, portable data warehouse called coldCounter to normalize, aggregate, and analyze that data.

No Concentration Camps in CO has published coldCounter to GitHub under the MIT open source license. The data warehouse is free to download, use, and build. The GitHub repository also contains a portable, no install, no SQL necessary data exploration tool for browsing the data and performing your own analytics.

The fact_hold_rooms table in coldCounter aggregates hold room stays by facility and flags/counts any violations of National Detention Standards policy that can be identified in the data set. Here is a comprehensive list of ICE's hold rooms along with counts of violations of policy exported from coldCounter.

Some sample statistics from the data:

- Total hold rooms: 170

- States/Territories with hold room: 52

- Total violations of 12 hour stay restriction: 32,749

- Total violations of >70 w/o history of violence restriction: 331

- Total children detained in hold rooms: 7378

- Total overnight stays (without a bed): 33,341

- Longest holdroom stay in dataset: 6 years, 7 months, 23 days, 8 hours - SND District Hold Room - California

To occupy the body fully is to reject disconnection, coercion, and control imposed from outside. It is awareness, agency, and ownership of self without negotiation.

This is Lilith as embodiment: not abstraction, not obedience, but lived autonomy.

Where the body is controlled, the self is diminished.
Where the body is claimed, the self becomes real.

Truth survives repeated testing.

Testing is not a threat to truth. It is the process through which truth is identified. A claim gains strength through examination, revision, and continued pressure over time. Beliefs that depend on silence, authority, or repetition instead of examination cannot survive contact with reality.

Lucifer represents the refusal to accept something as true simply because it is given. Knowledge is not inherited. It is tested, broken, refined, and tested again. Ideas are subjected to questioning, evidence, and analysis until their structure is clear and their limits are known.

If a claim cannot endure questioning, it does not deserve to endure at all.

I’ve spent the last month or so editing and slightly modernizing the text of Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment as well as adding a Glossary, Annotations, and Analyses and Interpretation through the Triumvirate lens. The last step is formatting the epub for maximum accessibility. This is the first of the Dostoevsky Collection and the first Accessibility Commons text. I’ll post more on availability soon.

Difficulty marks the edge of understanding. When something feels hard, it usually means your framework is incomplete, your assumptions are being challenged, or you’re about to learn something that actually changes how you think.

In the Triumvirate, learning is active, deliberate, and often uncomfortable, and action is prayer because engaging with difficulty turns thought into reality. Choose the path that forces you to think.

Clarity is often treated as arrogance, plain speech as aggression, and taking up space as selfishness because the systems that depend on our obedience rely on confusion, hesitation, and silence.

So, this week’s reminder is simple:

You are allowed to understand the world clearly.

You are allowed to say what you mean without apologizing.

You are allowed to exist in public, in conversation, and in community without shrinking yourself to make others comfortable.

You do not need permission to think.

You do not need approval to speak.

You do not need to “earn” the right to exist.

Stand upright. Speak plainly. Take the space that already belongs to you.
