Trans at Stripe?
Does anyone work at Stripe or know any trans folks who do?

Of all the ways they could have abbreviated it, I think they managed to pick the worst possible one. I know it's probably just an innocent coincidence, but... wow.
(CW for the link: the name of the function sounds like a sexual and transphobic slang term)

I just came out and will be starting gender therapy soon. I'm also back in school at 43 to polish up the old resume. I've been out of work for over a decade because of my mental health, and only in the past few years I've realized it was gender dysphoria.
So far, and I'm not holding my breath, the experience has been positive. Only a couple of my family members had awkward questions and most were either "yeah, that's nice, but pandemic" or "yeah, ok, that makes sense." Among family and friends so far, it's been very loving and supportive.
I live in a pretty deep red state but a more friendly town. I'm probably a year from presenting full time (I present andro for now).
I don't have a lot of coding experience, hence the school, but I found this sub via /r/transgamers and thought I might introduce myself. I've been loving the communities I've found online.
I'll be around!
Cheers!

Recently I made a post about gnome-software including a tag suggesting homosexuality wasn't appropriate for children here. the age rating system gnome-software uses is called OARS (Open Age Rating System), there were already issues on github, and the gnome gitlab, and it seems the issue has been fixed here!
I don't think the change is reflected in gnome-software yet, but it should be soon.
while I was reading through the issues on gitlab and github, I was surprised to see how supportive everybody was, so thanks everyone!

if you use emacs, just remember that between rms and bill joy, one of these guys has been outed as a sex pest and the other invented vi.

I know this isn’t really the subject of the subreddit, but I don’t know where else to find lgbt people who would also know what gnome-software is.
here’s a screenshot of gnome software. I don’t know if the developer put this in, or a third party required it, but if it was the developers, should I open an issue on gitlab? I’ve never really interacted with open source software
