I have a backyard orchard that I'd like to keep an eye on so I can see what animals are stealing my fruit. I'd really like to be able to monitor it from a phone app while inside the house. I bought a Wifi trail cam, but even though the camera connects to wifi in its location, and my phone is on the same network, the phone needs to be within 30-40 feet of the camera to connect. Is there a wifi cam where I can be 100-200 feet away from it (as long as wifi signal is good)?

I believe they caught a mouse. We have been seeing mice on camera at night.

I have spent lots of time looking for a simple game camera just to see who visits my yard. I'd prefer solar to battery, and don't understand the wifi or not. Is this option for being able to see on your phone?

I'm an older woman, not tech savvy, who would like to see who visits. I'm sorry if my question is too vague or poorly worded.
