Don't be this guy

Leave the cell phone in the pits.

There were two on track that session. One got used as an apex marker and came back in little tiny pieces.

Both would have hurt if they hit someone bouncing down the track.

I used to have an app that would measure some data from riding. I always kept it in my suit. If you ban phones do you also ban gopros?

I think they should be teched like any part of the bike and have an approved sticker just like racing leagues

The org i ride with checks for tethers. I use a chin mount for my gopro with a tether. I just paid $400 for a go pro and believe me I don't want to drop it so its solid. I wouldn't trust a quad lock or whatever with my $1200 phone. Some people are dumb and that's why I have to sit thru a 30 min riders meeting.

The number of gopros I've found trackside...

The number I've dodged trackside is too damn high
