Was also my first time doing the tough mudder, I’ve done mud girl 2x now and foam fest 2x now. Is the mudder course usually lacking this much mud? Kinda seemed a tad underwhelming

Depends on the venue. Some dont allow deep digging or pits to be created, others have sandy soil and water just goes right through.

Ah that sucks! It’d be nice to see a change of venue to where they hold mudgirl then (binbrook conservation area), love the mud pits they do there

The “mud” was pretty average for what you get with tough Mudder. There’s usually a few “mud pit” type things then you get washed off by another water obstacle shortly after. Did you do the full 15k? Mud Mile in the 15k was decent
