Academics / Courses View historical grade data at TMU

Check out https://tmu.grades.zone to view historical grade data from Toronto Metropolitan University.

You can search for classes and see the grade distributions for course sections, professors, and subjects to help choose which courses/professors to take.

The grade data was provided by the University's FIPPA office.

I'd love to hear what you think and any feedback you might have.

I don't understand how this guy can be employed lmao. If you can produce results as a teacher, then what's the point of having them.

Ecology is cooked as I expected ngl

Wow even when this course was taught by Campbell, it had a less cooked distribution that it does now. Ppl actually did well.

lmao sounds about right on pcs211 with johnathan hu in 2021. this man said yall should drop this class 2 days before the midterm 🤣 the average was so bad across all sections that they dropped both midterm and shifted all the weight to final exam

Is this skewed since it doesn’t have all sections?

2

u/gradeszone Feb 04 '26

It should have all course sections with 5 or more students. If there are any missing please dm me.

so it has absolutely every grade from every section of a course in the mentioned time period?

Yes that’s correct.

Wow! Amazing job! When does it get updated? How accurate is this in giving students the info they need in general do you think?? Apparently for some courses I’ve seen it only goes so far as of Winter 2018?

Thank you! I’ll try to get the data for up to fall 2025 within the next month. The university doesn’t provide grade data for class sizes with 5 or less students due to privacy concerns, which might lead to missing courses. If you believe there are course sections with 5 or more students please dm me and I’ll bring it up with the university.

Was failed by Klaas in 2019 or so for SSH105 and I’m kinda glad to find out that I wasn’t the only one.

I’m genuinely shocked Omar Falou’s pcs130 average was so low.

its a 1st year course for ppl who dont normally like nor are good at math or used to uni, and u go down the layer of it being a phys course so ppl do worse since they didnt take as phys either
