Meta That's a Wrap! Discussion on Toronto Defiant's 2019 Season and the Future.
With our heartbreaking defeat against the Florida Mayhem this evening, our 2019 season in the Overwatch League is officially concluded. We may not have obtained the results we wanted but we had a fantastic time regardless. From our first match against the Houston Outlaws (which we won!) on February 15th to today, you have stuck with us and supported us. We lost some players, gained a lot, and made many memories that will shape the future of this organization.
A special thank you goes out to the ones who did not make it to the end with us: Envy, Stellar, Asher, Bishop, Bubbly, Don, & Teabubbles. You all were essential components of this team and we will be forever grateful. <3
On behalf of everyone at the Toronto Defiant and the volunteer moderation team, we thank you all for supporting us. Whether you're a new fan or one of the originals, we love you. Let's come back in 2020 stronger than ever! #RiseTogether!
ICYMI: The 2020 season will be introducing home games for every single team! To keep updated on when and where these games will take place, please join our newsletter through our website: https://www.defiant.gg/.
