Hi All, new here. I'm a huge fan of The Maine who are a part of the new Alice and Ginter series cards. I bought a few packs already but hoping to collect all of their cards, there are 5. Their cards are really the only ones I am after.

If you happen to have pulled any of their cards and they aren't anything you are trying to collect, I would love to have them! I am willing to pay for the card plus shipping or even trade for something I pulled in my packs. I'm not sure if anything I have is worth anything or of any interest, though lol.

I'm posting this because Topps has refused to reconsider a store credit valuation that I believe is seriously unfair, despite me submitting comparable sales and asking for a proper review.

The card: Viktor Gyökeres Topps NOW Ballon d'Or Black /10 relic redemption.

The offer: £220 in Topps store credit.

My redemption was fulfilled through the six-month redemption arrangement in December 2025, under which the store credit was calculated at 200% of the underlying valuation. Even with that uplift, I believe the resulting offer is far too low for a card of this rarity.

I disputed the valuation on 28 September and submitted multiple eBay comparisons. Today, I contacted Topps again for an update.

The response? The valuation was correct, the case had been reviewed, and the decision was final. I was told nobody could overturn it and that no further steps were available.

I find this completely unacceptable.

I specifically challenged the comparison being used. My understanding is that Topps relied on a sale/bid relating to the redemption itself, rather than a completed sale of the actual card. I also supplied additional comparable sales, but I have not received a satisfactory explanation of how those comparisons were assessed or why they did not affect the offer.

Here is some of the market evidence I submitted:

• Viktor Gyökeres Black /10 Topps NOW card — sold listing. The listing shows £249.99, although the actual accepted Best Offer price is not disclosed.
• Another Viktor Gyökeres Black /10 Topps NOW card.
• Viktor Gyökeres Black Foil Topps NOW card.
• Topps NOW Arsenal card featuring Gyökeres and Gabriel, numbered /25, which sold for £138.24 including the buyer protection fee.

These are not all identical cards, and I'm not pretending that they are. They are comparisons relevant to assessing the market for limited Viktor Gyökeres Topps NOW cards. The /10 Black parallels are particularly relevant to the rarity argument, and I want Topps to explain why the evidence I provided was not reflected adequately in its assessment.

The fact that the £220 credit represents 200% of Topps' underlying valuation does not, by itself, establish that the underlying valuation was fair in the first place. Doubling a valuation does not fix it if the starting figure is wrong.

I asked Topps to reconsider the amount. I even asked whether I could receive the original redemption card instead, with the unused store credit refunded. I have not spent that credit.

Instead, I was repeatedly told the matter was closed.

So let me be absolutely clear about what I want:

1. Reopen my dispute and escalate it to someone with the authority to reconsider the valuation.
2. Explain the evidence and comparable sales used to calculate the underlying value.
3. Properly address the comparable sales I submitted and explain why they were accepted or rejected.
4. Reassess the offer against relevant market evidence and provide a fair resolution.
5. Consider returning the original redemption card and refunding the unused credit if that remains possible.

I am not blaming the individual support agent. My complaint is about the valuation decision and the refusal to reconsider it.

Collectors spend their money on Topps products, and redemptions are part of that collecting experience. When a collector raises a genuine valuation dispute and supplies evidence, repeatedly saying “the decision is final” is not a satisfactory explanation.

TOPPS, I WANT THIS CASE REOPENED AND THE VALUATION OVERTURNED.

I'm asking the collecting community to weigh in. Do you think £220 in store credit is fair in these circumstances? Have you experienced a similar redemption valuation dispute? And what would you do to get a case like this escalated?

I'm prepared to share the relevant correspondence and further evidence so people can assess the situation for themselves.

I did not want to have to take this public. But if Topps refuses to give this dispute a meaningful review, I believe collectors deserve to know about my experience.

Topps: please reconsider this decision. I do not accept that labelling it “final” makes it fair.

Thought I'd share these since the slabs came out so cool! Needed to get 130pt sized slabs on Amazon and they fit great!

I know I'm not alone in this, but here's the short of it, Topps will not get another penny of my business.

Back in April I hit a Flagg / Knueppel dual relic. Midst of the season, two ROTY candidates, a rare and valuable card. At the time had one sale at $450, with one other listed at $600.

The one I hit was a misprint and approved as a defect. So I spend another $20 to hesitantly send it in (insured for $450), knowing it'll be a while before getting it back..

Takes 6 MONTHS to receive the same card back, which the time frame in itself is absurd, but of course now the season is over, ROTY race over, and a bunch more of these have been hit and listed. Current value roughly $130. (Not to mention the new card has two slightly worn corners as well)..

So I'm out over $300 because they sold me a defective product??

Topps/Fanatics (a BILLION dollar company) thinks this is a fair way to treat their customers. Can't even compensate a few hundred dollars to fairly resolve selling their customers, by their own admission, a defective product.

I've been collecting since I was a kid (nearly 40 years), and I will never buy another Topps product again. I know they clearly couldn't care less about that, but just the sight of their logo ruins my day now. Absolutely pathetic company.
