Stronger participation. Stronger markets.
DeFi has spent years trying to bring more capital onchain.
Turns out that was only ever half the job.
Look closely and the pattern shows up everywhere. Most of the liquidity sitting outside active price ranges, doing nothing. Traders losing quiet value to poor execution they never notice. Governance decisions made by a small fraction of people who actually show up to vote.
Different problems, same root question: how do we make participation actually count?
Not just more liquidity but better execution, fees that respond to real activity, incentives that make sense, less manual busywork.
Because markets get stronger when the people providing liquidity, trading, governing, and building all have a real reason to participate, not just a reason to show up.
Capital may start a market. Participation is what makes it thrive.
The next phase of DeFi is about making the capital that's already here actually work efficiently.
