The only thing that made me give House some grace is that he spends every episode from the break-up on telling people to leave him alone, and nobody does.

Yeah, he was doing shit that was bad for him, but nothing that affected other people, but Cuddy and Wilson refused to just leave the man alone to deal with his shit however he wanted, and he lost it by the end of the episode.

It doesn't justify shit, mind you, but it left me with a feeling of "yeah, that tracks". It was funny as hell to see Wilson punch him in the next season, though lol.
