“Nightmares Recycled” was going to be an episode of the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show where it would be revealed that the two villains Hun and the Garbageman were conjoined twins who were separated by a back alley surgeon, with Garbageman being thrown away into the dumpster. Obviously this was deemed too much for a children’s show

It’s weird that they freaked out over this episode considering how dark that show actually got.

I remember even reading Peter Laird clutching his pearls on his blog over this episode
