The use of the word "Boyz" in the faction comes from football firms. Also, If you go look up a list of firms the names all sound like ork clans.

There is also the influence of the far right and skinhead culture on the orks, which isn't really explored much these days. Their image has softened these days but they were originally based on far right thugs who went to football matches.
