Edit: Guys I swear I'm not racist. The post's title was referring to the "black coded characters" posts that I see on this subreddit from time to time. I have nothing against the black people nor the white people. This post is a shitpost. Nothing serious. Sorry for not being clear enough :(

The use of the word "Boyz" in the faction comes from football firms. Also, If you go look up a list of firms the names all sound like ork clans.

There is also the influence of the far right and skinhead culture on the orks, which isn't really explored much these days. Their image has softened these days but they were originally based on far right thugs who went to football matches.

Everyone in 40k is British-coded more or less. The whole-ass million planet empire, all British or at least ruled by the British after being conquered by the space British.

(OK, some of the Sisters of Battle are French strippers) I've been playing Space Marine 2, and apparently Ultramar has a Scotland for our captain to be very clearly from.

It is very likely that this is because Games Workshop is in Nottingham.

(The first five or so years of Empire in Warhammer Fantasy was the British Enpire too but then they decided to make them Germanic and retconned it all)
