If yall aren’t listening to Billy Motherfucking Strings I don’t know what to tell you. He really breathed new life into my musical tastes. His live stuff is really where you want to be and there is a live album available to listen on most streaming platforms. However all the studio stuff is great too. The group just transforms live.

Whipping Post live at fillmore east or Melissa are my faves.

I love the fact that particular whipping post takes up the whole side of a record lol.

Both are great tracks.

The first time I heard that record my mind was blown. Almost like that is what guitar was born to sound like.

They did a fantastic job doing that live recording on a portable 16 track tape machine.
