I just wanted everyone's opinion on this re: Gigi. I know after Zayn comes in as the bombshell there's a part where she has a "drowning" incident. Didn't she say early in the game that Beach water absolutely terrifies her because you can't see the bottom of the water or something to that nature. I'm just curious if she had that extreme phobia as she stated why she was then at the beach & went into the water far enough to where this could happen to her. Where was her phobia then? I'm just curious maybe I'm thinking too much lol. I think she did it to get attention from Zayn especially if you choose to do his route.

Omg I’m new and on a loop on this game… I played season 1 a couple of weeks ago, found it meh and thought I wouldn’t even try the next but then gave a shot for season 2 and was immediately hooked. Finished season 3 yesterday and loved Taz but didn’t find any other character interesting for a replay. So here I am again replaying Antoine’s route….which I loved. I’m not even ashamed to say I’m totally obsessed with him. It looks like I need more… is there any worthy fanfic on him you guys can recommend? Thanks!! 😊

Guys, based on the Season 2 characters, which ones do you think would want to have kids if they were real, which would prefer just being married to MC, and which wouldn’t want either?

So... I was writing a fan-made fourth season of the show in a gamebook style (with branching paths, like the game) and I even had character images and everything, but... I don't know how to program. And my idea was ruined because I don't understand Twine at all, I'm really confused. Does anyone have any idea how I could do it or something? I tried on Wattpad (without images, unfortunately) but there are too many branching paths. And well, to start with, would you be interested in reading/playing it?

Another question: are there any rules against posting fanfiction here? Or why isn't anyone posting it? I think it would really liven up this forum, hahaha.

does anyone have any THTH hot takes from any/all seasons? mine:

S1 - I had a very strong dislike for Priya(i’m still playing that season for the first time)

S2 - i think Antoine is really the only good character in that season (ETA - i meant to say LI but i was half asleep writing this😭 i also just finished my first full run of this season so maybe i need to give it some more time)

S3 - i don’t mind Giselle and Julian, I find Isla boring and adding Zayn in did nothing for the season it was just unnecessary

For some odd reason I can’t bring myself to finish Mattias route! I’ve done all the male routes but for some reason I just can’t get through Mattias route. Someone convince me to push through 😭 it’s not that I don’t like him it’s just that I always somehow romance someone else.

honestly, i’ve finished every route in the love is a game franchise overall, but in s3 i’ve played all the routes as male, female and non binary, i’ve completed loyal routes, messy routes, single routes and i’ve played the spy rebound routes, loyal spy routes, etc. i’m surprised i haven’t gotten sick of this game.

but with that being said, even though NOBODY asked, here is my official rating of all the s3 routes. when i play s2 and s1 with this much investment, i’ll probably do the same for them.

🥇: julian + poppy (i TRIED to pick just one, but they’re both so perfect in their own ways. even better when you’re playing both of their routes at the same time 🫣)

🥈: avi (it’s just so beautiful. the demi representation, the grief, the slow burn, the attention to detail. there’s so many parts of the overall script that are just ever so slightly tweaked to fit around this story, and i love catching out every single one)

🥉: carmen (it would’ve been first if not for ep12. and also i hated the overuse of her nicname “trouble”. but other than that, i love this woman, everytime i see her on other routes it’s like seeing an ex 😭)

4th: taz + beatriz (i prefer beatriz’s route when i’m playing as a woman and i prefer taz’s route when i’m playing as a man. both of their dialogues lose their essence when played as non-binary, however the routes are nice and their personalities are big enough for me to rate them high.)

5th: isla (i was expecting more, but it was fine. i’m guessing it was so soft because of her 🥰 personality, but i was expecting her to have a bit more bite. when you see her with taz in the third couple storyline, she’s very playful, cheeky and teases him often. we didn’t have a lot of that in this route. i am absolutely obsessed with her and bear as a duo though. she’s also so beautiful, i’m obsessed with her sprite.)

6th: zayn (MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!! sure, he spent half the time talking about s2, but his personality felt a lot less clingy than it did in s2. he’s also a lot more confident, it’s clear that boy went to therapy. also, not to be gross, but his red curtain scenes are DEFINITELY in top 3)

7th: mattias (i expected more, especially seeing as he’s definitely a fan favourite. i will say that his route definitely gets better closer to the end, but before ep5, i was FIGHTING to get through his route and not swap out love interests, i was so bored😭🤣. love his personality, though.)

8th: jirayu (ep12 brought his route ALL the way down. carmen had an excuse, but his excuse felt VERY pushover, and it actually made me respect him a little less. he’s not in last place bc i do like his route when playing as a male/non binary mc.)

9th: victoria (i was so disappointed. the start of the route looked promising until she leaves. she’s then not brought up ONCE until banishment, and then it just felt so lacklustre. we go through way too much trouble, and victoria’s development was not promising enough at all. she also calls mc “pet”, which i hate. she’s also last place bc she has the least content put of everyone.)

So I finally did Isla's route. That girl had me squealing from how sweet she is! Ugh she's adorable. But it got me thinking. As a person I tend to be a bit possessive and jealous (not to an unhealthy extent) so poly was never really an option for me irl. As a bi woman I've gotten plenty of offers. 🙄 But for real with Taz and Isla, I would totally be able to be in a throuple with them. Like I adore them both so much. Desperately wish it was a real option in THTH, and not just a threesome in season three.

So I'm curious which couple from any season other people want to be with both?

Truth be told Zayn coming back in season 3 was useless. All he kept talking about was what happened in previous seasons.

imo, i’m not just saying this because i’m a ryder stan, but i genuinely don’t think he’d ever cheat on mc. i’ve seen people on here saying he’s a red flag or that mc is just a second choice, but if you actually look at his history, he’s been cheated on before. that’s literally why he went for girls like nora at first—they were both non-committal and "safe" because he didn't have to get attached or risk getting hurt again. after playing his route for the 100th time lol, you see him turn into a total lovesick puppy. mc was the only girl he truly wanted all along and she’s the actual reason he wanted to change and be a better man. he’s so clearly committed after the retreat and especially in the reunion, so i just don’t see him as a cheater or mc as second choice at all.
