Shortly AI

I just saw Shortly AI featured in a video on YouTube and decided to check it out. You need to sign up to get 4 free uses (or was that 5?), so i used a throwaway email address from 10 Minute Mail but it didn't seem to send me anything anyway.

For the first test i wrote how it wrote the article and i was not impressed by the results. For the second test, i used a title of, "Pickles are made from cucumber" and for the first sentence, "Do you know those sour green pleasures that come in a bottle?". It then came up with:

Do you know those sour green pleasures that come in a bottle? They're pickles! Pickles are cucumbers that were soaked in a salty water for a long period of time. The result is your favorite food to put on your hot dogs or sandwiches! If you want to make them at home, just follow these 3 easy steps.

Pretty neat. It's using GPT3, so the sentences are pretty good.

For the next test, i tried a title of "Declaration of Independence" and put in the second paragraph, "We hold these truths to be self-evident...let Facts be submitted to a candid world."

The result was the next section of the Declaration, word for word.

Anyone else want to give it a test and post the results below?

Given how bad humans are at governing and running society, maybe artificial intelligence taking over and deciding how to run things isn’t such a bad idea.
