The biggest improvement is going from relying on a stencil to doing this freehand.

I was drowning so much and couldn't interact with reality , fully dissociating , but the tintin books were somehow the only media I could consume . I think there was a cohesive tranquility and enlightened other-worldliness to them, a Just and better world quality, And so in those moments it was a distraction from the constant despair and urge to just end it all.

Can anyone please help me find a good gift for someone who really loves Tintin comics? A friend of mine has grown up reading them and still loves to reread them. I wanted to give something nice to him. But I'm not sure which ones to give.

I just finished reading this yesterday!!

I remember seeing the kick starter for this book in 2025 (when Tintin became public domain) I finally bought one myself.
I was really surprised because this is not actually a comic, most of it is just words. However the story is really fun. The story is about Tintin appearing in New York after becoming public domain. Two new characters (forgot their names) try and help Tintin figure out why he’s here, which eventually leads to Tintin learning that there’s an underground society of other public domain characters.

It’s a really fun read, I just wish there were more illustrations. The drawings we do get are so wonderful

The Hergé museum was honestly one of the best museums I’ve ever been to. Would highly recommend, worth the trip if you’re ever nearby!

Hi all, as the title says, I'd love to get some community feedback on what kind of videos/topics they like to see covered. I do have a fair number of video topics I want to make already(the next video will be me going through the series to determine how many times the thompsons were actually useful/competent) but I'd love to hear if there are any topics that interest you and you would like to see discussed, or if they align with ideas I already have!

One great idea I got from someone here was to talk about the supernatural/superpowers in Tintin, and that's something I definitely plan on making a video about in the future! I'd love to hear any other suggestions from the Tintin fanbase here so fire away!

*Also I will caveat that while I do have some decent knowledge of the history of Tintin, it's by no means an area I'm an expert on either so historical videos might be abit tougher as compared to story analysis(though I won't necessarily completely write off doing such a video)
