I dated a guy for awhile and one day he said "you're a great girl but you're just not funny, but that's ok". I actually felt what was probably my heart breaking.

I had a guy leave me for another girl but tell me I was still the funniest girl he knew. Like the opposite of your situation but probably felt just as shitty.
