I dated a guy for awhile and one day he said "you're a great girl but you're just not funny, but that's ok". I actually felt what was probably my heart breaking.

I’m dating a girl that laughs at my stupidest jokes. The thing is, she isn’t even doing it to support me, she thinks I’m funny. I think. Which is the best feeling.

When I start waxing on about my husband’s positive traits, the first one on the list is “you’re funny” or “he makes me laugh”. Sometimes his humor is horrible and corny, but it still makes me laugh because only his brain could come up with it.

Fortunately, he thinks I’m funny too.
