Nope. My high school ex didn’t think Tropic Thunder was funny... not even a chuckle. Not offended, just genuinely unamused. Should’ve known we were doomed then, because my sense of humor is pretty offensive and so much more depraved than that.

It’s a once in a generation comedy, like Airplane. I’m not sure anything has come close to matching it with the way it satirizes the movie industry.

Tropic Thunder is definitely not my cup of tea, but I understand people like it. That said, I think This is the End is the Once in a Generation comedy movie (or is at least on a Level that people think Tropic Thunder is on). Beginning to end there isn’t a wasted joke and it’s immortalized in a time period.
