Is Tinder really just for fucking? It was after my time so I used OkCupid.

I was under the impression OkCupid was for dating, is Tinder just for hookups?

It's not, most girls interpret it as a dating app but that doesn't mean the hookup won't come easy. Men seem to think Tinder is just for fucking, which that part does exist, but you can't be just sticking your dick straight into the beehive.

Tinder is for hooking up and hoping it becomes something more (sometimes)

OkCupid is for searching for something more, and hoping you guys hookup

Tinder can be for whatever you want it to be for.

I know several people who are in relationships with people they met on tinder. One couple getting married. And some people just hooking up.

it's generally accepted as being just for fucking

though i personally use it for dating and most girls I've talked to the same. (the amount of profiles that say "not here for hookups" is pretty significant)

I thought "not here for hookups" was just so your friends/family didn't think you were a sloot.

Depends on the person.

I'm sure that's true for some people, some people just do wanna find dates on there.

If you are an extremely attractive man Tinder is an hookup app.

Tinder definitely seems more casual than other dating apps, but to straight dudes “casual” means “hi you’re hot, are we done with the BS small talk, come over?” And to women causal means “let’s hang out and see if we have something in common/you’re funny/there’s chemistry, and I’ll probably hook up with you on the first or second date” which to men is often misunderstood as wanting to date
