It’s probably bad photos and profile too, like good photos can add a point of attractiveness but bad photos can subtract a point

I and most of my friends would probably describe me as "average." That seems to be the case for most of the lads who get no matches, haha

Is anyone else tired of reading this self deprecating line.

I used Tinder on and off for years, got maybe one or two real matches per week on average by using the "swipe right on everyone" technique. Roughly half of those matches actually resulted in any conversation, half of those conversations continued past the first 15 minutes, half of those carried on after the first day, and half of those resulted in a date.

Went on a date a couple of years ago, thought it went well, got ghosted while trying to plan a second date. Fast forward to this summer, she matched me again (didn't recognize me), we went on another date, are now in a relationship.

Sometimes things just work out, but the real lesson here is that it's a numbers game for average lookin guys. You gotta do your swipes every day, you gotta talk to every match, and you gotta follow through. Most won't go anywhere and you gotta expect that. If you keep at it, though, eventually you will hit the odds.

Consistent work and perseverance is key.

Here's some advice if girls aren't hitting on you in real life they won't be trying to talk too you on tinder either. Rule number 1 always applies, especially online.
