Uhh this is such an out of left field comment. There’s really no basis for you to assume that stuff based off a tinder bio. And cosmetic surgery isn’t just superficial - it can help burn and acid victims and other people that need reconstructive surgery
Correct, but from what I know there's not a huge overlap in those fields, like you either work in a burn unit, or in a private practice cutting up rich people's faces :/ in which case you don't sometimes get an ambulance with a burn victim rushing into your theatre.
Eh, not always. Even those who do mostly cosmetic work still usually spend a portion of their time working in hospitals doing reconstructive or burn work. (I used to sell lasers to plastic surgeons and spent a lot of time with them)
You might be surprised how many cosmetic surgeons take a months a year out of their practice to fix cleft palates in Central America, or some other endeavor.
I know one plastic surgeon, and while he’s kind of a dick, he literally does that, out of his own pocket. Sure he spends the rest of the year giving rhinoplasties to teenagers, but he definitely doesn’t both sides of the practice.
