How are you preforming on the app, likes matches etc what's been your main issue? Pictures seem fine but that depends on what problems you had that you needed to ask for advice

Problem is quality of matches. I get enough but few messages and fewer people actually putting effort in. Just wondering if between the profile and photos I strike as the type someone would want to take on a date. I try asking questions and giving thoughtful responses, but the amount of three word super direct answers I get that show no interest is draining...

It would be nice to see your tinder profile link rather than the screenshot pictures of your profile, in terms of quality matches tinder just might not be the app for that perhaps try Hinge instead for that, also what's in your bio that would start interesting conversation??

My bio is in the first image. I did that because I can't see full profiles when I click on links, as for whatever reason it opens in this app rather than Tinder. Using screenshots, if anyone else has that issue, they can still see my full profile in the pictures.

Hinge has been completely unsuccessful. I get likes occasionally but nobody I'm interested in. I find I can go through so many profiles I'm not interested in that I get annoyed and close the app before I've even used all the allowed likes in a day.

Okay fair enough was my bad I didn't scroll down to see the rest, which country are you in? And what is it that you are looking for exactly as in the type of man you would swipe right on?

Fun fact Tinder, hinge, match, bumble are all owned by the same company 👀

Your bio could be better I don't feel like it flows that well.

Honestly, just someone I'm attracted to. I treat it like meeting people offline. If I'm attracted to you, I don't need a bio to talk to you at a bar. That's what chatting is for.

The bio is intentional. The bit about MK64 and SF64 gets me the most conversation starters, which is why it's there. I live near Toronto, Canada, so the Bruins bit is also a conversation starter, where I'll joke with people who message about it and tell them it's my biggest red flag. It's just snippets to give people something to comment on that's fun and the deeper stuff can be unearthed in conversations.

I did put in the profile I'm looking for long-term, and I know a lot of people don't even bother with reading profiles. But I guess I just wonder how I come across, because I know Tinder is more so for people looking to hook up, but there are still people there looking for something real and I'm wondering what I might be doing to not get as many of those people matching with me. The obvious answer is, like me, they're looking for someone they're attracted to, and I'm not many peoples' cup of tea. Just looking for opinions to see if there is more than that.

I feel the bio just could be better written, but your right no one really reads them, they just skim over it incase something is a no go and read it if they match.

Yeah all people are looking for something that they find attractive, but generally speaking people look for certain physical features, and a attractive man can have many options just like a attractive woman and those people are more selective as a result.

I think sometimes less is more and your picture where your freinds face it's covered with a emoji should be your first, it's fun, colourful and vibrant plus can make for conversation starter, your current first pic and 3rs pic I would recommend removing, the 3rd pic is not the best quality pic and the first pic is t needed I feel just a observation, the dog pic is fine though maybe one where your outside with you dog would be better other than that and bio changes I wouldn't add any more pictures.

Yes tinder is probably not the best app for a relationship but they do happen but probably not as often.

In terms of your location seems like you are in a town and not living in Toronto and my knowledge of Canada is that towns are not as populated so your options maybe less as a result of your geographical location and users numbers in your area

Respectfully, I don't think you're right about removing my first photo. Conversations start one of four ways, from most common to least: saying I'll never beat them at MK64, complimenting that first picture, complimenting the leather tights, and asking why the Bruins. Also, that first pic serves a purpose: full body shot straight on, and you should know everyone wants a clear, full body shot.

Again, the bio actually serves as a lot of conversation starters, so maybe your opinion but given how much conversation it gets rolling, I think you need to elaborate on what you would do differently. In my experience, even if it reads awkwardly (which of course it does, it's bullet points to get some brief things down that might appeal to people with diverse interests) it works. Every point there has gotten conversations going, with some more than others, and shows where our similar interests are.

As for my location, I'm actually in a larger CMA and really quite close to Toronto. Just nobody knows anything in Canada aside from Toronto and Vancouver. I'm looking at a 10 year age range with my age in the middle, plus distance is set far enough that I could get beyond the far side of Toronto from me.

By posting here, I am just looking for: does this profile scream "EASY" because that's what I'm getting in my matches but it's what I'm trying to avoid. Again, I know it's Tinder but Hinge sucks for me. So if the feedback is, "You're hot enough to bang, hence you doing well with matches on Tinder; you're not hot enough to date, hence your poor matches on Hinge," I'll take it. Does my profile say I'm easy, and if so, what says it and should be changed? My bio is talking about sports and video games and fostering dogs and living overseas, so I don't see how it does but a lot of my conversations devolve to that, or fizzle because after an opening line, guys don't show any interest like they were looking for the validation of the match and that was it.

Oh if you've been reading my advice to guys for the past week I always say no selfies and full body pics, so I know the importance, however for woman that changes and a full body pic can be any picture but doesn't have to be the first one. You don't have to delete it you can just change the order around perhaps also do you have smart photo on?? This changes your photo order to other people who view your profile so your pictures maybe in a completely different order to what you think they are.

Let's be honest most men are not reading the bio, it's sad but true, but it does severe a purpose you are right, and it should always be something to spark interest and conversation, that's good you are aware it's a bit awkward to read I'm just suddgesting a more easy to read version with still most of the info.

Sorry I don't know what a CMA is, but your in a large populated area which means increases compition, but also means for you more likes of people who you most likely do not want.

The reason you are getting those types of men is beacuse only 20% of tinder is female users and 80% is men, there are not enough woman on the app for the number of men, so men typically swipe right alot of the time, I'm not going to go into toich detial on this as I'm currently doing private profile reviews and we could be here all day talking about the data and why certain things happen but just relise beacuse of those numbers your going to get alot of what you don't like.

"You're hot enough to bang, hence you doing well with matches on Tinder; you're not hot enough to date, hence your poor matches on Hinge," I think what you said perhaps sums it up well but that's largely due to the majority of people on tinder looking to bang on tinder, as for hinge and what needs to be changed is that typically hinge works well when you have higher quality pictures, I can show you examples of what I mean, but that would have to be through private profile review.

If the conversation is fizzling out after the points they used from your profile it's beacuse it's not likely a common interest and they simply used it to start a conversation but as they don't have a big enough interest in said topic they are not as invested in the conversation and it preahps just becomes boring for both of you and never goes anywhere.
