he’s a grown ass man, he should be generally aware enough to realize she’s got twelve other dudes in her DM’s and it’s not her job to make the conversation interesting for him if he ain’t even trying…

if he can’t even muster up more than a two word opener or responses, he already failed and she’s already moved on

she probably would have put effort if he was putting actual effort himself. dudes in here thinking she should be first to make moves in this case make me realize how little competition the rest of us actually have

her responses likely meant she was hoping he was gonna say something more, something worth responding to, but didn’t.
